Cute but poor quality.......2007-10-12
This phone is cute, but not a good quality phone. I bought this phone because I liked the color, and I needed a phone with both caller ID and speaker phone options. The phone is poorly made. I could not get the clock to set to the right year, the year would not go past 2004, therefore the caller ID time and date stamp is always incorrect. The ringing options of music are cute but there is no option for a regular ring sound at all. The speaker phone works well but at times there is some static on the line when I use the speaker phone. If you are looking for a cute phone for a kids room, this is an okay phone, but I wouldn't recommend it as your every day phone.

I cannot even believe how complicated finding a good, corded speakerphone that doesn't feel "cheap" is!
I thought a pink phone in my office would be fun...
This phone is cute (and affordable). But the appeal stops there. The phone feels cheaply-made, the buttons kind of stick when you push them, and the sleek and modern handset is but not built for a human hand to hold to a human ear for any length of time. Call sound quality is not very good. The "music" that you can choose for the ring tone is whining and really annoying (no "normal" ring option is available). The music on hold feature--while a great idea--is also a very grating, electronic "song" that any adult victim on hold would put up with for about 2 seconds (a mute button would have been so much better). Using the speaker for a conference call, the people on the other end said I sounded "far away," even though I was leaning over and talking quite loudly directly into the phone. Last straw: this brand-new phone just dropped my call in the middle of a phone meeting.
The two features I did like were a jack input for a headset unit, and the ability to turn the ringer up, down or off. And it was nice that the caller ID was lighted during an incoming call ~ a lot of phones lack a backlit display.
Clearly, though, this is ONLY a phone for kids.
neat phone.......2007-03-23
This is a really cute phone. The speaker phone works great. My daughter uses it at the computer to play online with her friends and talk. It plays music instead of a normal ring! Very cute. I thought it was cordless. I made a mistake on that and almost returned it but it works so good next to the computer I decided to keep it.
