Superb little hard drive. I only use it as a firewire drive, so I can't speak to its USB capabilities. I originally ordered a Western Digitial Passport, but I later found that iBooks and PowerBooks don't output enough USB power to run it off USB alone -- this little drive functions just fine powered only by the firewire port.
For OS X 10.5 users, this is a great Time Machine drive. I bought a second for my fiancee.

Don't believe the hype that this item is Mac compatable. After carefully following the mfr's installation and operation instructions to the letter, the item suddenly disappeared from the desktop. It won't mount on MacOS 10.3.5 nor on MacOS 9.2.2. Nor will it be recognized by the Disk Utilities included with these MacOSs and Symmantec/Norton SystemWorks.This external drive is a ripoff and an unreliable piece of junk.

Hey, this cable is perfect for extending the range of your existing HDMI installations. I used it to connect my receiver to my projector after trashing my former TV. The cable was needed because the projector is now opposite ways from the receiver.
The construction is excellent. It looks robust and the connectors are good quality ones.
Don't hesitate, just get it to your cart if you need an extender.
