Front panel push buttons give you easy access to 22 channels (7 GMRS/FRS, 7 FRS, 8 GMRS). 38 CTCSS (continuous tone coded squelch system) codes and 83 DCS (digitally coded squelch) codes provide a total of 121 privacy codes. 2,662 privacy combinations are possible when the 22 channels are combined with the 121 privacy codes. 10 NOAA channels provide full coverage of all government operated NOAA broadcasts. VOX detects the users voice and the radio transmits without the need to press any buttons, freeing hands for other tasks. 5 VOX sensitivity levels allow the user to select at which point the radio will detect their voice. An 8 point digital compass will help keep you headed in the right direction. Keep track of time with the built-in digital clock with alarm. The patented VibrAlert provides a silent alert for incoming calls. 10 Channel Memory allows you to program up to 10 memory locations.
