I used this mount to hang a 42" LCD and it works very well. I had only two small problems: 1, the holes in the mounting plate are offset from one another. There is a drilling diagram included that shows how to drill the holes but the way that they are offset you have to have it lined up EXACTLY on the stud or else one of the screws will either blow out the side of the stud or miss it completely. I mounted it with one screw then drilled holes directly beneath the screws that I knew were in the stud and installed the second set of screws. This is easy enough if you have a drill. 2, I wanted the tv as close to the wall as possible, but the rails that mount to the back of the tv are set on spacers that are almost an inch long. There are no short screws included to use the rails without the spacers so I had to buy four screws, no big deal. There are no adjustments to level the tv once it's up, so make sure you mount the plate to the wall very level! Considering that this mount was only $40, I'm very pleased with it! If they had just put the mounting holes in line I would have given it 5 stars.
