I got this for my daughter who cracked the screen on her previous MP3 player. It looks sturdy enough, but is not too big. Should prevent damage when shoved into the backpack with everything else. Not sure I would have paid the $30 they wanted for it at Best Buy, but the Amazon price made it worthwhile.

Nice quality product. My only disappointment was that the slot provided for the headset plug doesn't leave enough room for the plug. There is a bit of pressure on the plug that worries me, though I have had no problems.
EXTREMELY NICE travel case.......2007-12-17
This is an EXTREMELY NICE travel case that allows storage of all the needed items. The leather case that the unit slips into is high quality, and fits the MP3 Player perfectly (and the control buttons are still accessible). Both the leather case, and the carry case have a belt loop and a "D" ring on the back for either strapping it on, or suspending around the neck with the included necklace cord (nice cord, too). The cord has an excellent latch clip on the end which provides a secure connection. The outer zippered case is internally padded, and has a "netting" compartment on the inside cover. One draw-back is that the "ear buds" can be tricky to position inside of the case, but it can be done. I feel that having the Player inside this case will provide extremely good protection from potential damage. This is a very inexpensive way that you can protect your SanDisk investment. I would highly recommend it.
Functional and bulky.......2007-12-16
Bought this mainly to protect Sansa from my 6 year olds abuse. It servers it purpose. But the case or the kit is very unattractive and bulky. It takes all the coolness of Sansa off.

Too bright and cheaply made..........2007-10-03
This alarm clock takes very little room on the night stand and I love the touch sensitive snooze. I barely have to be alive to find it.
However, my husband has the same one and his "Set alarm" button sticks and his hard to press. Also the numbers are very bright and light up the room even on the lowest dimmed setting. I have to turn the clock away fom me in order to fall asleep.
Defective after less than a month........2007-08-31
I received this clock not more than two weeks ago and it is defective already. It gains over 15 minutes per week! Its not worth the shipping cost to return....just another regretable instance of low quality junk....
Nicest alarm clock I've ever owned.......2007-06-04
I just got this alarm clock as a gift and I was surprised by the quality of sound it produced. It is replacing a clock I've had since the late 1980s which had that "tinie" sound you get from small speakers. This radio has much better sound than that and I like the green hue of the numbers better than the red on many older clocks. You can even adjust the brightness of the number display, although there isn't all that much difference between the brighter and dimmer settings. The touch top is a good thing, too. No fumbling. It can also be put on timer if you want to use it to fall asleep and have it go off on its own. All in all, a really nice clock for the price.

One thing I read once and now believe...reserve about 10% of your home theatre budget for cables (If you are spending or plan on spending $5000.00 on TV, surround sound, speakers, etc, then plan on spending about $500.00 for cables.
But, Monster cables are overpriced, pieces of junk. I've spent a lot of money on cables and used to get Monster cables. I've had numerous cables fall apart in my hands, had ones that introduced video and audio noise and were actually worse than the junk cables that come with a component.
That coupled with the fact that Monster Cables is suing everyone on the planet that uses the name Monster in it (including Monster Garage, Monster.com, etc), I would stay far, far away from them!
Invest your money on good cables, but not Monster.
