Armband for Zen V mp3.......2007-06-08
This armband really comes in handy when I'm working out at the gym. It has a flap to secure the cord so it doen't interfere with my workout. It looks good and I'm glad I ordered it.

The arm band was not big enough...i have 17 inch biceps, and it does not even come close to fitting...the belt clip is nice though and the skin is nice, but if you want it for the band, hope you have small arms

The quality of the band is very nice. The band is too small though. It does not fit all the way around my arm. I bought mainly for the belt clip, so I do not feel the purchase was a complete loss.

Prior to my Zen V Plus, I had a Creative MuVo TX FM which came with an armband and belt clip in the box. It was a very comfortable and easy to use until it was stolen. As a replacement, I thought I would upgrade to the Zen. Unfortunately the armband for the Zen V Plus had to be purchased separately; I chose to go with the Creative branded band based on my previous experience. To my surprise, the Creative armband is too small for me. Now, I'm 6'2", but I'm not much of a weight lifter, so my biceps are only 14". However, the available strap length is less than that, so I cannot get a comfortable fit. It fits too tightly and tends to pops open as I try to secure it due to lack of slack. I looked online and found that the average male bicep is 13" in circumference - about the same as the armband's strap. As previous reviewers have stated, the included silicon skin is nice, but it seems that this unit was designed for women, children, and smaller than average men. So guys, unless you have a 12" bicep or smaller, I would look elsewhere for an armband to use while you work out.

I'm VERY happy with this armband / belt clip / skin for this player. The skin is easy to put on and get off, is well made, and obviously a perfect fit. I'm not about to test it, but I imagine the skin would do a decent job of protecting the unit if one should drop it. It also protects the unit from scratches and dings. I do, however, wish the skin came with a screen protector of some sort.
The belt clip is very secure. Fantastic.
The armband is an armband. Not much to say there, but the beltclip attaches to the armband, making it easy to take the player on and off of it (in case you go from cardio to weights or whatever and want to switch). I do agree with the reviewer who said that someone with exceptionally large arms may have a problem fitting into this. I'm a pretty big guy and this is not a problem for me.
I'm a runner and truly love this armband.

Excellent presenter!.......2007-12-20
I bought this remote because it has a timer with vibrate alarm and conveniently a laser pointer built in. I have not been disappointed at all - actually, I love it. It is comfortable in your hand (great size for a womans hand; no fumbling for the buttons) and the buttons are easy to find without looking at the remote. The unique design of the buttons with different functions gives you no doubt which button is what. And you don't need to stretch to use the laser pointer and you won't hit the black screen by accident. Thus you can concentrate on your presentation. And contrary to many other remotes, this works in an intuitive non-confusing way. It is very easy to use, also as you can just plug it in anytime and start. Its longer range lets you move about in the room as you present.
I like that with a quick click, one can extend the timer value in increments of 5 minutes. The vibrate alarm warns you 5 minutes and 2 minutes before time is up (and when the set time expires).
The batteries last longer as you can turn it on/off. I have had it for a year and have still more than 80% battery power left (there is even a battery indicator!)
The one backdraw: the count-down clock is NOT backlit - you cannot see the timer if room lights are dimmed. So far I have not found it a huge inconvenience, however.
Bottom line: It works *very* well as powerpoint remote with timer and laser pointer. It's the best one I have used/borrowed by far. I can highly recommend it for most types of presentations (there is no mouse-button [hence, less confusing], but there is actually a volume button for showing media clip with audio.)
Logitech Presenter--Simple & Reliable.......2007-12-18
I keep running into people who say their new presenter gadgets are unreliable, so I bought the tried and true Logitech 2.4 GHz Presenter. As promised, it always works, first time, every time,straight out of the box.
The only features I would have liked to have had on the presenter were the ability to start the presentation from any slide, not just the beginning, and the ability to jump to a certain slide number.

As with almost every other Logitech product, this one doesn't disappoint. While it is almost twice as expensive as its nearest competitor, it is worth every penny.
Installation was a snap and required no additional drivers. Volume control is an innovative feature, even though most powerpoint presentations don't have embedded audio or video. The Laser pointer is useful as well and goes a long distance, which is handy when you are presenting in a large room.
Also, I liked the range that I could use it at. It does in fact work up to 50 feet as long as you don't have any large object obstructing the signal from the hand held remote.
Overall, I think it is a great buy and looks like has secured a permanent place in my laptop bag for years to come.

What a difference a product makes!
As a presenter and CEO I rely upon technology that WORKS...
I had a recent presentation with another product (by Targus) that failed miserably with my new Vista loaded HP laptop (could be the interface between the Vista and the Targus software). It would go to a "blank screen" by itself in the middle of each slide...it was embarassing and a slight on my presentation-skills...
This Logitech 2.4 Cordless made a big difference! It worked great and it saved my firm's reputation...its slim profile and "WYSIWYG" logic worked for me! I highly recommend it for its value and utility!
Easy to use........2007-12-07
I am an occasional user of the Logitech 2,3 Ghz Cordless presenter. I use it for safety meetings and Basketball officials clinics. I find it very easy for the occasional user to master. I am looking for other chances to use this tool.
