Hard case and soft case work well.......2007-11-05
I liked this product a lot. The only problems were that the soft case doesn't fit exactly on the 80gb ipod classic, but it fits well enough.
Also, the hard case is useful to keep the ipod from getting scratched and it props your ipod up so you can watch videos, but it makes the ipod extremely bulky, making it so you can't tell if your ipod is the the old brick or one of the new ones. In addition, the hard case doesn't fit very snug around your ipod, even with the soft case, so your ipod may rattle around inside the hard case a bit.
Also, the click wheel on the ipod doesn't work as well when covered by the soft case and the hard case together; trying to scroll down or up can get very frustrating. Currently I just use the soft case and I like it a lot, it looks pretty cool :)

This case is a bit large and the belt clip is not removable making it even more clunky. Probably NOT the best choice and not what I would choose again.

This is surely a good product to buy.... everything is good (although makes the ipod look a little bulky) about this product. It does the job for which it was bought for, protecting my ipod against any scratch.
I have lot of videos in ipod and the protection still gives good clarity of video.
The only slight -ve point I felt was that it still allows some dust to get through.. makes me take the case out and clean my ipod once every week/2.
Saves my ipod.......2007-07-12
This is one of the best cases for ipod protection. I have dropped my ipod several times with this case and my ipod has no damage. I had tryed other hard cases before this and they didn't protect the whole ipod, they left the wheel exposed. With this case you have the protective silicone wrap and the hard plastic case, which leaves none of the ipod exposed.
Not what I hoped for.......2007-06-22
I bought the iSkin case for my 5th Generation, 80 Gig video iPod. I bought it from TechNGnet and I am very disappointed.
First, there is a flaw in the plastic that covers the video screen. I contacted TechNGnet to return it for a new item without a defect. I was told I would have to pay shipping myself and then TechNGnet would evaluate whether or not they would accept the return. TechNGnet said they couldn't be held responsible for the quality of the products they sell and ship (a statement that floored me).
Second, the hole for the headphone jack is not big enough. My headphones will not plug in all the way when the iPod is in the case. So when I want to use my iPod I have to remove it from the case. What a pain.
I would not recommend buying this product from this supplier for these two reasons.
Must-have for iPod owners!.......2007-05-30
I recently bought my very first iPod, and upon recommendation from my brother I purchased a hard case for it. I searched for a while and this case seemed like the best deal. I received it this morning as I was leaving my house to walk to work, and happily opened it up and put my iPod into it. The case is designed so that every button and port is available. You never need to remove the iPod from this case. While I probably won't be seen with an iPod hanging from my belt, the belt clip doubles as a stand for your iPod, allowing you to prop it up on your desk. This is perfect for those of us who watch videos.
I'm very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone. Just make sure you purchase the correct case for your iPod (The 80gb iPod is thicker than the 30gb).
