Defies Physics.......2007-07-21
I thought this product would work well enough, but this thing is awesome! I have it placed on my dash at a very steep angle, but my iPhone won't budge. It seriously appears to defy physics. No matter how hard I brake, how quickly I accelerate or how sharp I take a turn, my iPhone doesn't move at all! It's an amazing little pad and I highly recommend it.

I own the whole gamut of iPod accessories: iTrip, iBeam, iSkin, iTalk. But this is probably my favorite iTem (ha, I couldn't resist), especially when you consider the low price!
If you're like me, then you've probably stuck your iPod in the cup holder in your car, balanced it in the change dish, stuck it in an ashtray, rested it on the dash board.
And you've also probably made the one sharp turn that sent your iPod tumbling into the footwell of the passenger seat.
The iGrip solves this problem completely! You wipe off your dashboard, slap down the iGrip, and it sticks. And whatever you rest on it also sticks!
The material itself isn't sticky, but it seems to be based on the same principle as those Wacky Wall Walkers we grew up with. It's the same sort of super tacky plastic that adheres to everything without leaving a residue. And no matter how hard I brake or how sharply I turn, the iPod has yet to slip.
And when it loses it stick (as it will after a month or two), you just wash it with soap and water, and it is regenerated as good as new! Which, come to think of it, is exactly what you were supposed to do with Wacky Wall Walkers when they lost their stick.
