This kit includes a pair of HFW5R in-ceiling speakers, a HFWVC stereo in-wall volume control, a HFWWP-2 speaker pair wall plate, and 50 feet of HFWBX50 stereo speaker cable.The 5.25-inch speakers deliver high fidelity sound without taking up any space. The HFW5R is powerful enough to fill a medium-sized room with crisp sound -- perfect for adding speakers to a bedroom, kitchen, den, or even a bathroom. Installation is a breeze with the patented Roto-lock system and it can be painted to match your home's decor. The cut-out size for this in-ceiling speaker system is 6.75-inches in diameter and the speaker is less than three inches deep -- the perfect fit for almost any ceiling.
The high-efficiency design allows the HFW5R to operate on as little as 10 watts of power, but it isn't sheepish -- this little speaker can handle the heft of a wide range of home theater and stereo receivers (up to 65 watts). The speaker delivers high tones through the 0.75-inch tweeter that features a cloth dome with a Ferrofluid cooled voice coil. The 5.25-inch subwoofer features a black polypropylene cone with a rubber surround seal that delivers deep, bumpin' bass tones.
Install the HFWVC control knob in the room with the HFW5R speakers and room volume control is at your fingertips. Whether you're turning the sound up or down, the knob is 10-position, light-touch switch that offers a smooth volume change. The HFWVC includes the mounting ring, standard or Decora wall plates, and wire nuts for a quick, professional installation.
Make professional connections between an amplifier and a pair of in-wall speaker with the HFWWP-2 wall plate. This wall plate offers two separate, clean, wire connection through gold-plated, color-coded terminals for the best sound transfer. With a Decora style and easy-to-use screw terminals on the backside of the wall plate, the HFWWP-2 is both attractive and simple.
Last, but not least, the 30033 kit includes 50 feet of HFWBX50 stereo speaker cable. This cable is the perfect choice for running wire to remote rooms for whole house audio. This 16-gauge wire bundle includes all four conductors you need to power a pair of speakers. Each piece of wire is color-coded and each conductor is composed of 19 strands of oxygen-free standard copper. The wire is UL listed for safety and CL-3 rated for in-wall use.
