I just bought my I-pod and yes it took me forever...I behind the times! I did extensive research on covers and I saw this one. What drew me to this one was that it has a hard-plastic cover that protects the screen and the wheel is protected by a thin layer that doesn't interfere with the use of the wheel. This one doesn't collect link (black outer part) like the reviews said for the other I-skin covers. The outer shell is like a rubbery material. I haven't dropped my I-pod or anything but I feel that if I do then it was help protect it. There is a small flap that closes at the bottom where the docking connection is and a small hole at the top where you plug in your earphone. I don't use the "hold" button so I can't comment on that.
The only expection is that the only way to clip on the I-pod is to pull up the clip. Meaning, you can't press the top of the clip to open it up. This is a minor flaw but I don't really use the clip anyway. I hope this review helps in choosing this product.

I received the iskin evo3 special edition for ipod a couple months ago and wanted to see if the purchase was well worth it before I wrote a review. Let me tell you, it is, with out a doubt, outstanding!
First, the styling. I found it very attractive and sleek. The red click wheel looks much better than the regular iskin that is plain black and it makes the iskin special edition very unique. The black visor is sleek and with gentle curves which makes the case stand out nicely. The rest of the case is made up of an easy to grip, soft yet durable membrane that does NOT attract lint or dust. The case does make the ipod look a little bit bulkier but you barely notice it because your too busy listening to music and staring at the beautiful, red click wheel. I personally think that my ipod looks better with the case on. It is the best looking case out in the market.
Secondly, and most importantly, function. Like I have said before, the case is made out of durable materials that protect your ipod from dust, rain, or anything else to muck up the ipod. The connector slot is protected by a flap of the membrane that can easily be pushed to the side. The ipod click wheel can still sense your finger through the red one just as accurately as it can without the case on. The visor is tinted but not to the point where you can barely see the screen. I can see it just as well without the case. The clip CAN be taken off if need be and easily too. The only flaw, I would have to say, is that the "HOLD" button on the ipod is hard to move with the case on. If you need to move it I suggest taking the top part of the case off and then doing what you want with it. It is not a problem for me because I don't use it too much.
Overall, it is a wonderful case well worth the money and I am very glad to have purchased it. =D

This is the most attractive and durable case I have found. I-skin out did themselves. You wont be disappointed. Could come with lanyard like the Nano. Only draw back.

Decent mid-priced complete 5 disc stereo system.......2007-09-23
I got this around 7/2006. I tried a Sony before that but myself, friends & family had trouble setting the menu choices so I brought that back. It did have great sound, but no S-Video which is unimaginable.
This JVC is to replace my 9 year old 100 wt. per channel single receiver (no speakers either) that still worked, except for the remote. This complete system cost only a little more then that one did & this has 5 disc changer, and front port for a USB, and easy to use menu w/on screen like the old JVC was. The sound out of the system & speakers are pretty good for the price in my opinion, though I can tell it lacks something even with the subwoofer. A friend who has great hearing & expensive tastes said it wasn't bad for the price and good enough for the basic buyer who would not buy Coby or really cheap electronics, but those with great hearing will not be happy.
The cons are there are limited inputs/outputs for video/sound because you already have the dvd built in & there is a full 2-4 second delay anytime you chance the source. I could go into it, but just look up this on CNet com & gives a better review & gives it 7.3/10.
JVC - Home Theater in a Box.......2006-11-14
The first unit I received worked for a hour and a half and then the sub-woofer malfunctioned. It is powered to an AC outlet and there was an electrical problem. Since all the other speakers are connected to the receiver through the sub-woofer, I had no sound.
I had to repackage the entire system, paying about $27.00 in freight to return it for a replacement, which I decided to do because I had good experience with JVC products in the past. I received the replacement, installed it and it now works fine.
For the price it is a good value, though it lacks high definition capabilities.
Best System for the price.......2006-05-25
This is the best system for the price with 5 DVD changer. Great sound quality. Remote control is somewhat tricky. The speakers are designed very well. Goes with my Sony KDF 50A10 and decor. The sound is amazing!! I am happy with my purchase. 6ave.com for the best price. I paid $277.06 including shipping.
