Quality...Loud and Clear With Some Bump........2007-07-09
I was in a hurry and wanted to get a dock for my 80GB Ipod. No one had the Altec I wanted so I saw this and figured it had be somewhat good and bought it. It was packaged nicely and real simple to hook up. So how does it sound? It sounds extremely well. It gets really load without distortion and the SRS WOW effect really does well. The features I like is that it has Aux in so I can hook other items to it if I so choose. It also has an AM/FM Radio, video out and a subwoofer out. It is also built very solid with a decent remote that controls the ipod. I was in no way going to get the Bose Sound-dock. It only exist with the IPOD and nothing else. And I compared the sound and guess what. No real difference. You see, on the ipod there is an equalizer that can be used to get the sound you want through the dock.
I can not give it five stars only because it does not thump like I would like. But it does deliver decent bass that will annoy a neighbor if in an apartment.
