The DLO 009-2021 iBoom Boom Box for iPod with FM Radio (Black) is a 20-watt per channel, 4-speaker boom box system with a built-in digital FM radio. All you have to do is simply drop your compatible iPod into the iBoom dock, and hit play to enjoy your favorite music anytime, anywhere.
The DLO iBoom works with the newest video iPods, although it does not support the playing of videos, and in fact works with any dockable iPod, including the: iPod Nano (1st and 2nd generation), iPod with color, iPod mini, and most standard iPod models. This boom box features a built-in handle for easy portability, an auxiliary input jack for using other types of music players or peripherals with your iBoom, and the option to be powered at home via the included AC adapter, or on the move from six D-cell batteries (not included). The 009-2021 from DLO is constructed with two woofers, and two tweeters, for a full, rich sound at all volume levels. The woofer's in this system have an 80 Hz frequency response, while the frequency response of the tweeters is 20 KHz. Normal impedance for the woofers is four ohms plus/minus 15-percent, and five ohms plus/minus 15-percent for the tweeters. These speakers have a signal-to-noise ratio of 85 dB for the woofers, and 88 dB for the tweeters, plus or minus 2 dB each. The 009-2021 iBoom comes in a black finish that complements your iPod as well as your home, and is backed by a manufacturer's 90-day warranty.

DLO I- Boom for Ipods.......2007-01-03
I have recently purchased this item and was pleased with the sound. Some people complain about the hiss at low volumes, a problem that I have not experienced. If you read the directions, hint, hint, it states that to improve the sound quality you should adjust the ipods internal EQ settings. Mine seems to sound the best on the LOUDNESS setting on my Ipod. It seems to balance out the sound for all types of music. By balance I mean the bass and treble are not blown out on either end. I plan on buying a bag for it because the built in handle seems like it would be difficult to hold if you are carrying more than one item besides the I-boom. All in all I rate this as a decent speaker system for my Ipod that fits my needs. I have a 30GB video and it fits great in this device.

After reading many reviews about various systems and the not so great sound quality, I wondered if the raters were being a bit picky.....but after buying the iboom boombox, that doesn't seem to be the case. The sound quality was ok. There is a hissing that people have described, especially at the lower volumes; even at higher volumes, the sound quality is good at best. I ended up returning it and got the ihome clock radio with remote instead- much much better sound and quality.

i can't tell you how this product is to use because it came broken in half. After having to prove that it came broken, they refunded my money. I asked for a new product in better packaging but they never responded. Just the refund. At least I got that.

I purchased my shelf Topper at a local retail store.
The base shelf has skid-proof strips,and your choice of tall or short adjustable leg with 2 rubber strips.
You also get 2 locking knobs and hex nuts.
Do not place more than 20 lbs. on your Shelf Topper.
It looks great on my 13" Magnavox TV!

Product arrived missing one of the two screws required to assemble and use it. Strangely, there was a second screw in the package but it was a different size, color and threading; it did not match or work with the product.
The vendor made an honest effort to resolve the problem, but obviously could not do much to overcome shoddy Philips quality control in the originating factory.
Overall, another piece of low-quality merchandise made in China and sold for a large mark-up; caveat emptor.

I bought a 16x compatible spindle, have to burn at 8x or even 4x on 2 different PCs/burners. Next time I will stick with Memorex and TDK.

For the last few years I have always bought these DVD+Rs. I've probably bought a dozen spindles and I've never had a problem. Some of the other reviewers have mentioned needing to throw an entire spindle away and I don't recall throwing more than an occasional disc away. Of course, if you've burned discs of any sort you'll know that regardless of brand you're going to produce the occasional "coaster."
That being said, it's important to realise that recordable drives and discs are similar to people in terms of compatibility. By that I mean that one type of disc may be in true love with a certain drive, but absolutely loathe another. Even if you've had great success with a certain brand of discs, you may not have the same success if you change drives.
My sincere recommendation is that you start small. Buy a few single discs or perhaps a ten pack until you're confident that the discs are working well with your drive. Then, you can start buying the 50 and 100 spindles. Sure, you may lose the "bulk discount" for the one or two "test" discs but you're saving yourself from losing an entire spindle of possibly incompatible discs.

I burn roughly 50 DVD's a month for work projects. I've gone through two 100 piece spindles with only one coaster. For playback on home theater DVD players, these have proven the most reliable of any brand out there. I typically burn videos at 4X, but these have worked perfectly at 8X and 16X. If you've found your HP Lighscribe drive a bit finiky with other brands, the Sony's have been 100% in both of mine. I'd put them in my top 3 choices for DVD media along with TDK and HP.
many bad discs.......2007-06-17
I have had skips and stalls on almost all of the dvds in this pack so far. I previously had a 100 pack of memorex and they were great. I wouldn't buy these sony dvd's again

DVD machine purchased was not compatible, and the discs were rendered unusable. I opened the spindle bundle and felt I couldn't return the discs.
