Good, but limited.......2007-08-14
These little speakers are great for small areas (desk, along side bed)but are limited in that they have no volume control. Using an Ipod, it was difficult to hear in noisier places, such as the car. The description said all Ipods will fit - my nano doesn't sit correctly. It will connect to the plug from these speakers, but does not lock in place as the larger ipods will do.
Doesn't Fit 2nd GEN Nano.......2007-03-04
Although this is a lovely, slick little system, the pin in the audio slot is positioned too far to the left to fit into the hole on the bottom of the 2nd GEN Nano. The box claims this unit fits "all iPods," but with the advent of the new Nanos, that is no longer the case.

Great Buy.......2007-10-19
I bought these speakers to replace my old Infinty Entra Point Five system. I looked at a few from Bose and Polk before going with these. First off the sub kicks out some Serious bass! The center does a great with vocals also. I bought an extra surround speaker so I could run a 6.1 setup. Im very impressed with Infinity once again. Great sound for a great price.

Great HDMI Switch.......2007-12-21
It's a very small unit which doesnt take up much space. It blends in really well sitting on top of my receiver, making it look invisible. I use it with my DirecTV HD DVR. The remote control is very convenient. No more having to get up and manually switch cables. I highly recommend at least a 4 port for future use. It would have been nice to have it come with better quality HDMI cable.
Does not work for me at all.......2007-12-15
I tried every possible way to make this splitter work and I have been unsuccessful. It works with my ps3 sometimes and with my high def cable box I get sound and no picture. I thought it was the cable at first so i spent $100 bucks on sony 1.3 compliant high speed hdmi cables and still the same result. I am in the process of trying to get a refund!

Well, the HDX-501 is only HDMI 1.2a complaint. (As of ver 2.1 of the product) Just so you know!
It took me a while to find this detail and I'll save others from the madness now with this post.
(The rating is given only because Amazon forms requires it regardless of relevancy. I of course don't own it given what I only just found out. It does get rave reviews at AVS forums )

Buyer Beware.......2007-08-03
I rcv'd one of these little units from the seller and could not get it to work - These things happen occasionally. Called seller and they sent me another one ( the seller has been very helpful with my problem ). Got new unit and while I at least had video this time, there was no audio - the switch is a dud. Seller is taking both units back and giving me a refund. By the way this little switch is being sold under several names by different sellers - be carefull what you are buying!
Did not work.......2007-07-30
I tried it with my DIRECTV HR20 and my Samsung Blu-ray player. Neither worked either together or with the other unplugged from the switch. The remote did not work either. Maybe it was the battery, but since the unit didn't work, I didn't bother trying a different one. No instructions except on the back of the box. No support number and no troubleshooting hints or website. Even for $47 you would expect it to work.
