I've got the Logitech THX 5.1 system at my work, which is very nice, but for the money, this system out performs it. It's not surround, only 2.1, but if you aren't looking for a 5.1 system, then this is definitely worth checking out. I took my iPod with a selection of test music to Circuit city tonight and listened to all the systems with the same music... These speakers had the best quality sound for your general 2.1 music.
Also, the ipod dock is pretty slick, incorporating a touch volume control rather than a mechanical knob. You just rest your finger on the (-) or (+) buttons to raise or lower the volume.
