Best for exercising in the gym.......2007-05-21

I have a couple of these. If you exercise in a gym (on the treadmill, spinning, lifting weights, etc.) the hat is very convenient because it takes the wires out of your way and stores the iPod/MP3 player safely and comfortably away. Much better than putting it in your pocket or holding it in your hand.

The XB subwoofers are equipped with Deep Channel(TM) woofers that deliver extended excursion with increased bass response, and Bostons exclusive BassTrac circuitry, designed to eliminate distortion. A 24dB/octave lowpass filter on each subwoofer prevents it from being easily localized by ear, increasing placement flexibility. Also provided are variable crossovers, phase controls, rear-panel line and speaker level inputs, and a crossover bypass function for Home Theater components that perform their own bass management.

Great sub for smaller space.......2007-09-27

Boston Acoustics makes quality products and this is a good little sub for under 200. Good for apartments and smaller living rooms, but if you're thinking of doing a bigger space consider the XB4.
