the black one has, over a year or so of use, gotten a little loose, but it still works fine, and the other two work perfectly. the hard plastic screens are a bit scratched by now, but that just makes me glad the scratches are on the case and not the iPod. the only problem with this is the fact that you have to remove the bottom part of it everytime you want to connect it to the cord, but i cut small slits in the bottoms of the cases so thats not a problem- and even cutting the hole doesn't damage the product. overall, a snug fit for the 60 gb iPod (they have a different size for the 30 gb), and i believe they will fit the 80 gbs as well.

I bought this product from amazon, even after reading these reviews, because ipodlounge gave it very high marks. But I had the same problem, it doesn't fit quite right, and curls up away from the screen at the top, plus has a gap in the back that's not necessary. Luckily I also purchased the Contour Design Showcase hardshell case for my new ipod, and love that one. So at least one of my cases worked out!

I purchased this set of cases at the Apple store when I got my iPod 60gb w/ Video, because it was the only thing they had at the time. Unfortunately, I am going to have to return it. Talk about a terribly-designed product!
Each case comes with these clear hard-shell screen protectors, and the rubberized "skin" is supposed to fit around it and hold it in place. However, at the top of the screen, the "skin" doesn't hold tight to the iPod - it curls up and away from the screen. So you end up with this little opening...which is not only unsightly (especially on the well-designed iPod), but is also a perfect place for dust & grime to get stuck.
I tried all three cases, and tried putting them on, massaging them into place, even tried it without the screen protectors. I did this for over an hour, until I simply gave up. What amazes me is that this product is designed for one thing, and one thing only...and it can't even get that one thing right. I'd give this zero stars, if I could. Unless you want a defective product, I'd steer clear of these cases. I'm even more surprised at Apple for selling the things in their retail stores. For shame!

I love these speakers. I use them all the time since i purchased them.
I use them with my 30 gig Zune. The battery life last about 15 hours plus it came with a AC adapter. Would definitly buy again.

It has clear sound, good bass, feels nice, and a short and practical cord. It is bigger than the picture makes it look. It's 11.5 inches long, 4.25 inches wide and 1.25 inches thick. It still awkwardly fits into my cargo pants pocket though, which is all I was looking for.
The first time I played some sound through it, all I could say for awhile was "WOW". I was greatly impressed by the sound for portable speakers. You can feel the sound easily on the outside, even at a low volume. Volume was a big thing for me, this puts out enough sound to be heard very well in a single, medium-sized room. Distortion is not really a problem, it handles this well.
Its clear plastic speaker cover folds all the way back as its stand. I can tell it would be easily scratched. Resistance is perfect for the hinges on the cover. It comes with a power adapter that does not charge it. It runs off four AA batteries. You could use rechargeable ones, and charge them externally like what I'm doing. Or, you could in the long-run spend much more on one-time use batteries. My rechargeable in the back of the device did get stuck there though. The case for the batteries in the device is tight, fine for alkaline, single-use batteries, but apparently not too well for rechargeables, which are slightly wider (1-2mm more). The sound input cable is built in, and only a few inches long, which is practical for its design. Because of its length, you simply push the cord into the back of the device, and it wraps around the edge of the back. The cord completely fits neatly into the device. Lid does not close tightly, if it is squeezed with something though, like a rubber band, then it is completely sealed from dirt, although the back has holes for ventilation. There is rubber on the rim of the lid, and the speaker around the rim of the device. If squeezed, it seals perfectly when squeezed gently. It weighs about three pounds with batteries, without the power adapter. The power adapter is extremely light and has a 6ft cord. The plug is put directly on the transformer, but it's thin, so it does not take up two spaces on an outlet, instead it juts out to the side. There is no volume control, only an off and on button on the top. It automatically turns off after seven minutes of no use. When it is disconnected and on, it does not hum or produce any sound at all, it's the ipidimy of quiet. I never have had a problem with it turning off on me when I have my music down incredibly low. It's very sensitive about knowing when sound is being played to it.
