Hard to use wheel on iPod mini; chafes arm and gets a little loose.......2006-11-27
I use this for running in the gym and doing the machines. It works okay, but I wouldn't buy it again if I had the chance. The material occasionally chafes my skin, partly because the armband loosens slightly when running. The most annoying thing is that I can hardly use the iPod when it's in the case. The plastic material covering the iPod makes it very difficult to change the volume and even use the buttons.
Bottom Line: Don't buy unless you don't care about changing the volume or having access to the wheel.

For the price this is a good carrier. It fits snugly and comfortably on my arm, and the adjustable elastic strap is well padded, so the player will stay tight and comfortable on your arm without being shaken around a lot even if you are running or doing other vigorous aerobic activities. I use it at the gym for both weightlifting and cardio exercises, and have had no problems with it slipping off or being uncomfortable. It has a little side flap that lets you coil up the earphone cord when not in use and secure it beneath the flap with a velcro fastener, which is very convenient.
Another plus is that I have used it with both the iPod and a Creative Zen Micro (which is slightly larger), and it fits both fine.
One significant drawback, as another reviewer noted, is that the plastic cover over the player is thick and not held tightly against the player, so adjusting the controls on your MP3 player is difficult. If I want to switch tracks or playlists or adjust the volume, I often end up having to pull the player out of the carrier to do so, before sticking it back in.
Some Fine Tuning.......2005-09-19
This armband fulfills its purpose as long as you don't want to change the volume or music. It is a little hard to initially put the ipod in the case, but once you get it in there it is pretty snug. The plastic case on the outside does make it hard to adjust the music.
It only FITS the Creative Zen Micro, you cannot USE it with the Zen Micro.......2005-07-12
The player goes into the container upside down and sits upon a strap, like the bottoms of briefs(tighty-whities). This works fine with players with headphone jacks on the right or left sides. Unfortunately, the Zen Micro's headphone jack is located square in the center. Also note the reviews for the Zen Micro noting the very delicate headphone jack which is prone to breaking.(This has been compensated for in more recent versions of the Zen Micro but is still a vulnerable part due to the design flaw of the headphone socket connected to the player's board with merely metal sodder instead the socket being secured into the plastic as it should be. If you're reading this, you probably already own a Zen Micro and you just look at your Zen Micro and tell with your eyes that the headphone jack is off-center already.)
Basically, you cannot move this strap aside to insert a headphone jack without placing large amounts of pressure on a fragile headphone jack(Please see Creative's support forum and search headphone jack, it will return with 20-30pages of complaints)
I myself own one of the sturdier revisions thankfully.
HOWEVER, you can fix the problem with a DIY(Do-it-yourself) solution.>THIS WILL NULL THE WARRANTY
< Just take a normal nail, and set against to where you'd insert the headphone jack into the tunebelt. Remove your player from the tunebelt and just drive that nail through, pulling the head of the nail through as well. Take a razor and make two cuts in a "+" form. Insert your headphone jack to see if it fits and widen the two cuts until the jack can fully insert itself into the player.
The edges of this strap on the tune belt have very strong wide borders which should be able to withstand the wear these cuts will create. I don't expect a lot of fraying because of the strong material but it may happen(I suspect searing the edges of the new hole may slow the process, but doing so is going to be difficult).
You see, I'd tell you to give up on this product, except the necessary modification is a simple 5-minute procedure. That, and there is no other holster that can accomodate a Zen Micro during excercise due to the iPod's dominance in accessories.
Yes, the Zen Micro's buttons can be used through the openview plastic. The sensitivity on the buttons is deadened a bit, since some people(not me) feel the Zen Micro's sensitivity is already too high, I don't think anybody'd care.
Basically, make the 5-minute mod, and you can then use this product with your Zen Micro no problem. It's the only holster for jogging, and it does a good job aside from the lack of a hole. So go ahead and buy this, just be ready to null the warranty.
Didn't know what to expect.......2005-07-03
After reviewing some of the other devices to hold the iPod Mini in place while exercising, selected the Armband Carrier. It more than adequately fills the bill of what I was looking for. Occassionally, you might have to adjust the tension on the armband to keep it from slipping down your arm, but it holds the iPod firmly in place. It can cause some chaffing if you wear a sleeveless shirt if you walk or run with the device. If you sweat a great deal while you exercise, I would advise removing the iPod from the holder after you complete your routine. Would recommend it to anyone who asks.

Configurable as either a main or surround speaker, the JobSite LST-RLS speaker installs unobtrusively in the wall, where it delivers crisp, rich sound without taking up valuable floor or shelf space.
