Which ones will you receive?.......2007-12-09
I have used about 3 of these so far. The work really good. Never a bad burn, but the surface is where the problem is. You might get the Nice glossy finish or you might end up with the horrible matte finish. The matte finish when printed is not any where as nice as the glossy. I went to CompUSA and had them open a few and they were all different. The all have the same label and UPC. I have found out that Memorex buys disc's from a few different manufactures and repackages them.
So - it a fifty/fifty chance you might end up with the nice GLOSS FINISH.

I needed some printable DVDs to give out to several classes that I do. My Epson Stylus Photo R260 prints on them just fine though I haven't tried pictures. I've gone through about 75 of the 100 stack and had, maybe, 2 or 3 rejects from my Toast 8 program. The center hole has printable area close to it so you can more printing.
A worthwhile purchase. No problems.

Memorex printable DVDs are great!.......2007-09-18
Coupled with an Epson RX480 printer, I've printed at least 100 DVDs and have had no issues. It's simple and the artwork looks professional for sure! Highly recommend!
400+ And Going Strong.......2007-06-18
I have burned and printed 400+ of these discs in the last twelve months and have had exactly one fail. That particular disc was returned by the customer and replaced with the same type of Memorex disc with no further problems. About half of these discs were burned on an older 4x Pioneer drive and the rest on a new 16x LaCie. I would recommend these DVD's to anyone considering purchasing them.

I bought a 100 Pack and about half went in the trash I will never buy these again. If you want a good quality burn EVERY TIME try these TDK Electronics 4.7GB/16x DVD-R (100-Pack Spindle)

No coasters and they print great!.......2007-01-09
After burning about 50 DVD's, I have no coasters. The surface prints just beautifully. I use a Epson R-320 printer and the results of this printer and the Memorex DVD's are great.
I ordered this twice. Once I was sent the hub printable version and the other has a narrow strip at the hub that you can print with a gap where the stacking ring is. At first, I was disappointed, but after using both I find them both to be very useful.
The only negative is that Amazon should specify which printable type you are going to get rather than leaving it up to chance.

Need some good pens .......2007-01-04
This is a good buy, I've always liked memorex. Trusted brand through and through. The real problem lies with writing of the cd's. I had bought a set of memorex pens to write with my memorex dvd's, only problem is these water-based pens dont write well on these at all. Save your money and buy some sharpies. Other then that, their great.

These DVD's burn well and play in all the DVD players I've tried them in (even a very finicky one). I don't use a printer, but the plain white surface looks so much nicer than the typical logos. Makes titles stand out nicely with just a sharpie.
