The tape is working fine till now after many repeated recordings in my 8mm camcorder. The price...for two tapes is not much but i think you can also get other tapes like sony for this price or some dollars more. The quality of the plastic used to manufacture this tape is not good though but there is no need to look after it as the basic function is to record and play, for that its fine.

I'm a video producer, and in the early years of my career I used Hi8 tape. However, it wasn't any old tape I was using... I was using Fuji tape, because I know that Fuji tape stock will give me the vibrant colors that will last a lifetime. Thanks fuji!

Why did I wait so long?.......2007-12-03
It was time to retire the old school CD tower and save some space, threw away in excess of 350 jewel cases. I had some older CD books/wallets but was looking for an option that provided something a bit more secure and larger and the size of the 240 case is perfect to fit on the bookshelf without being too large. Purchased 2 of these and filled them to the rim - very well made and they are so far just what I needed. As an FYI you can fit album cover in the front pocket along with a CD and then another CD in the back pocket, this option works great for 2-disk sets. Will most likely be purchasing a 3rd book eventually for DVD's and PC backup disks, software, etc..

I was hoping for a nicely molded case, unlike the ugly obese ones that are sold everywhere these days. Unfortunately, what I got was a molded monstrous case that held only as much as my slim favorite old one, in 3X the space. Returning the product.
n.b. - beware when you buy from Amazon, because some retailers will have a restocking fee (this pushed me to buy from another site).

this product is a great idea if your trying to save on space.I took my whole cd collection and put it all in this carrying case that i can store anywhere! If ever i want to take a cd somewhere, i saved a couple of cd cases,just put it in one of those and you can take it anywhere.I liked this product so much that i bought one for my dvd's too.

the product name includes 240, leading you to believe the capacity is 240 CDs. It IS, however, if you use the option to store the CD books/covers, the capacity is really only 120. The product is nice, well-made and what I expected otherwise.
