Swimming with the SV-iP4G.......2006-05-13
I started a daily swim program 7- 8 months ago. After 1/2 hour of laps it got pretty boring. The SV-iP4G helps me get through my 1.5 hours a day doing laps. It is wonderful! No leaks. No worries. I am about to test their warranty on the headset, as mine appears to have a wire short, but I am still very impressed with its operation. I have both the armband and waistband carriers for use when swimming, and I like the armband the best. I recommend it to anyone who asks about it at the gym, and also recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time swimming with music.

I paid in October 2004, received apologies in January that I would not get the product before Christmas and a promise it would arrive by May. By July I realized I never had received it yet (when they sent me a promotional offer for something else). E-mails have been ignored. All I receive are more offers. Now I need to go see that I can still get the charge off my credit card.
Conceptually Good- Bad Execution.......2005-10-29
Conceptual this is a good product but as for adding music to your swim workout it's not a winner. I was so excited when it arrived but spent the majority of my workout trying to readjust the arm band for drag or stopping to re hit the play button because a flip turn cause it to pause. And the earphones dont give you consistent sound as you swim; creating a somewhat irritating tin sound after a few laps.

I bought this speaker because the one that came with my surround sound set was tiny. During large scale movies (like Lord of the Rings) I couldn't hear the dialogue because the music was so loud. After about a month with this speaker I am greatly satisfied. It's loud, gives enough bass, and is quite large (look at the specs). Overall it's a 7.5 out of 10. Good buy for the casual surround sound setup.

I bought this 25-pack to back up my iTunes library.
Pro:
-Burned roughly 40 songs per minute... wow that's fast (in under 2 hours we burned all 8.65 days worth of our music)
-Read-write capable (at speeds up to 12x)
-13 discs held 2165 songs, and since this was a 25-pack, we still have 12 left
-No problems with writing, no chipped, scratched, cracked or otherwise defective discs
-Comes with a holder and a cover that twists and "locks"
-Case could hold what I estimate is another 8 discs or 33 total if you remove the foam spacer and clear CD-shaped protector
-Minimal packaging waste to deal with and easy to open, no act of congress to open
-Very good price and even better value
-"Sharpie" ink pen writes on surface ok
Con:
-Disc graphics are annoying, no significant clear space/area to write... surface covered with small "silver squares" that dot almost the entire surface
Neutral:
-Top is clear #5 plastic (base is black #5 plastic), good for seeing inside, bad for letting in UV light (hence the nuetral)
-Scratch resistance is unknown. We burned our discs and then packed them away.
Bottom line: Highly recommended. Have had no issues, discs appear to perform as expected.
