Damn DVD Ram.......2007-10-24
I purchased the Fuji DVD Ram discs to (hopefully) make my LG DVD recorder Mod # C797T, operate correctly. It was a replacement for a Panasonic DVD Ram recorder which could not be repaired or replaced under Best Buy's extended warranty plan. This is my 3rd DVD ram recorder, 2 Panasonics and the LG. My experience and the scarcity of new recorders and DVD Ram disks makes me assume that this media has not been perfected yet. I tried using Panasonic Ram discs and they skipped or locked up. I then purchased Verbatim and Fuji discs which were recommended by LG. I'm still having problems and am ready to go back to Best Buy! I can't fault the Fuji discs since it's the recorder that's bad!
