Beware of this brand.......2007-10-23
I used their blank CDs to archive some irreplaceable music 4 or 5 years ago. They now all start to become unplayable and the outer part of the discs are starting to turn brown. I used many brands and this is the only one that does that. I will not touch this brand to store any valuable material, be it CD or DVD or any future type of media.
BAD.......2004-07-17
4 out of 10 works. JUST LEAVE IT. NOT EVEN WORTH OF A SINGLE STAR
Nothing but coasters........2004-01-02
I've used different brands of DVD-R's before and never had problems burning DVD-R's. I have a Pioneer DVR-105 and use Nero Ultra Burning ROM as my CD/DVD burner of choice.
Every single one of the Khypermedia DVD-R discs I used were failures. I'm surprised, because I've had nothing but good luck with Khypermedia's CDR media.
Don't blame the media for your incompetence!.......2003-12-03
I haven't had a problem using KHypermedia's DVD-R or DVD+R discs. I've been using a Lite-On LDW-411 with most recent firmware and Windows XP and these discs play fine in my very cheap AMW dvd player. I wasn't expecting much from the discs because of the reviews I've read and the fact that I got 4 10-packs for free (after rebates) from OfficeMax. They're not lightning fast but you can backup a full DVD in about 30-40 minutes with CloneCD (half the time for ripping the original DVD, half the time for burning), and if they work I really don't care about saving a few minutes on burning time.
I had one problem with a DVD-R disc, but I attribute it to another application which stalled my computer.
Make sure you know what you're doing before you blame the media. In my total burning experience with DVDs and CDs, I've had probably 2 coasters out of hundreds. And those were not necessarily even a problem with the media. I've never had compatibility problems, but maybe I'm just one lucky SOB. If you're using a burner with many known problems, then you might want to reconsider what the problem is when it won't accept your media. Lite-On has always worked perfectly for me.
full of flaws.......2003-09-09
In a previous review I gave this product 5 stars. After looking at over 20 disks that I burned I find that all contained so many problems in the disk media that they all had to be thrown out. They look good and are priced right but are useless. Please do not purchase! They are worthless

Great Quality with Low Price.......2003-12-10
I had no problem using Kypermedia's DVD+/-R or CD-R discs. I have tried 20 DVD+/-R discs with my Sony's external DVD burner and Sony VAIO computer and had no problem at all. I have used more than 200 Kypermedia CD-R for both data and audio books, I am really happy with the quality of product from Kypermedia.
I Must Be A Lucky S.O.B., Too!.......2003-12-07
I'm on my third 25-pack of Khypermedia DVD+R blanks and I have 60 perfect copies of my DVD's that work perfectly not only in the $90 BenQ DW400A 4x4x12X DVD+RW burner I'm creating them with, but also in my JVC XV-N50BK home player that lists DVD+RW but not DVD+R as a playable disc type.
It appears that either some burners are temperamental about the reflectivity of the dye used in certain brands of discs, or the media isn't to blame and the problem lies with the hardware, software or user.
I haven't tried them all, but I've yet to find a brand of DVD+R discs that doesn't work for me and I've never burned a coaster.
Stop blaming the media for your incomptetence!.......2003-12-03

Terrible!!! Problem after problem!!!.......2003-11-09
This was unfortunately the first DVD+R I tried when I bought my new CPU with DVD burner. I tried to burn video three times and three times it was a complete failure. The video would stall out, start and stop, or break up. One of the discs wouldn't even load and the DVD player gave me an error message. I figured it was the DVD writing software I was using so I gave the company a call... To make a long story short, I was advised to try another type of disc. It worked with the new type of disc (a Pengo DVD+R) and the recording played beautifully. To make absolutely sure of the horrible quality of this product before writing this review, I tried to record yet another time. The final attempt wouldn't load either. I definitely wouldn't take a chance on this product working for you. I'm 0 for 4.
You get what you pay for. Low price = low quality.......2003-10-30
I got 2 25 packs of KHypermedia DVD+R disks when I bought my burner. They worked fine in the burner and worked ok (some freezing and dropouts) on my DVD player and 2 computers, but would not work on my 3rd computer. They would start to play, then freeze up or I'd get media errors, 3 out of 3 disks did this. Tried Fuji DVD+R disks, worked fine everywhere on all 3 disks I've burned so far.
KHypermedia disk seem fine for databackup, where you read them from the same drive that wrote them (your DVD burner) but beyond that, I can't depend on them.

The best Secure Digital SD card money can buy.......2007-11-10
Although I didn't treat ATP's professional SD card cruel enough to find it's breaking point, it had to undergo quite some climate and temperature changes, got dusty when a flask with Herbalife powder accidentally fell on it, had to cope with some moisture ...
One can only wonder how little people seem to give for their memories. The card costs more than throw-away competitors, but not as much as priceless moments and memories that will never come back. For ambitious amateurs or professionals, any other card is out of the question.
Works perfectly!.......2007-03-27
I use this SD card in my Nikon D50, and it works perfectly. Personally, I'm a bit nervous about those gigantic capacity memory cards. This size is perfect for an amateur like me - holds >200 RAW+JPEG images. Pretty much all the time this can take care of a day's shooting, even when I'm on vacation (I can download the images at the end of each day). If you're a pro and shooting hundreds of pictures in a day (at a wedding, eg) this might not be for you, but for the rest of us it's ideal. I used it when I went to see the Tour of California bike race go by a few weeks ago, and it allowed me to set the camera to continuous shooting (JPEGs) which it did with no hesitation. Previously I had a 80x card, and sometimes it would have to stop shooting while the images were saved to the card. No such worries with this one.
Great SD Card.......2007-03-09
This card lives up to its billing. It is just as fast as a Lexar SD2GB-133 Professional card I have and it was cheaper and waterproof.
ATP Pro Max SD 2GB 150X.......2006-11-26
Bullet Proof Card. Waterproof,Dustproof and has even been tested after soaking in CocaCola.(Wouldn't try that at home though} Very Fast Read and Write Speeds. Twice as much as older generation cards. Backwards compatability! Wow. The price is very competitive. I haven't had any problems with it in my Panasonic DMC-FZ7K. Forget the rest, ATP is the best at the moment. Enjoy.
