TDK CD-R80HSCB-30 is quite a long product designation, but very precise when broken down. "CD-R" means "CD-Recordable," the blank media used for data copying in situations where it's okay that the disc is not eraseable. You'd buy "CD-RW" discs if you wanted to reuse them several times. "80" means the disc can hold up to 80 minutes audio at full CD quality, or 700MB of data. "HS" stands for "High Speed," and these particular discs are certified for drives operating at up to 52X speed -- high speed indeed. "CB" indicates "Cake Box," a slangy term for the spindle and lid arrangement in which this package of 30 blank discs is sold--which does, in fact, resemble a small cake box of the type your grandmother might have owned--that is, if you're lucky!

I have used tdk cd's and many other's like maxwell,memorex,comp-usa,verbatrim, and fujitsu and none have had as good performance i have never encountered a faulty disk or even a skip. I would recommend these over all cd-r's!

A Monster replacement.......2007-07-27

I bought this cable to replace a Monster SW300 cable that produced a hum through my subwoofer whenever it was moved or another cable/electronic device was in close proximity. No more hum, and tight clean bass. Acoustic Research PR series cables are built to last with tight, durable connectors and excellent shielding. If you need a sub cable, this is the one to get. I'll never buy another Monster cable.

NOTE: This is a single RCA to single RCA cable with a SEPERATE dual RCA to single RCA splitter. This is the case with all of the PR15* series subwoofer cables. Some of the pictures on [...] are a bit misleading in that respect.

Duracell makes a great battery; and these batteries will show you just how good they are made once you try them. The "Coppertop" version of these AAA size batteries does indeed last longer than pervious types of AAA batteries by Duracell. I really like this because I often travel by public transportation and I use my portable CD player to listen to music. I always get several hours more use out of these CopperTop Duracell AAA batteries; and that's grand! They contain no mercury which at least according to Duracell helps the environment.

Of course, these AAA batteries can be used in anything that requires them--not just portable CD players. Moreover, the reclosable storage pack actually does close neat and clean for you so that the batteries remaining inside the package don't get dusty or exposure to any elements if you're outside camping or something.

Use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will always be several years into the future; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer anyway. The problem is not only do they lose their potency; the batteries also begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode eventually a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me!

As the product description correctly notes, please do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could indeed explode. I wouldn't carry them loose either--they should be protected in their cardboard case or they should be already installed in your portable CD player, your flashlight or whatever device you placed them into.

Overall, these Duracell Coppertop AAA size batteries are the ones to choose if you need AAA size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs AAA size batteries. Duracell offers their customers a toll free number they can call if they're not happy with these batteries; and that impresses me--that's good customer service on Duracell's part.
