Tighter bass is the strength.......2007-07-13
Cable is the minor but important component of the HT. About Z4, befor purchasing this I tried Nordost Blue Hevan. I was comparing it with Monster THX 1000. I did not notice any difference at all. During this time this Z4 came on sale for $ 300 (10 ft/pr), so I bought it. I did side by side comparision of monster THX 1000 and these Z4. Surprisingly it made my Klipsch RF 82 sound more cleaner and tighter in lower frequencies. Well $ 300 is very high for the budget minded consumer. For me, I love perfaction and money is second to quality. If you are really crazy like me on sound quality, this product will satisfy you.

Seriously, these cables are worth the cost. I have continuously upgraded my system with power cords, a better cd player, power cleaners, etc. and I would say these Monster Z4 speaker cables generated as big of a jump in my system's performance as anything else I've invested in. So much of what people look for when they upgrade their systems are deeper, tighter, more defined bass. These cables deliver the goods. You could spend much more trying to get the same performance from a new amp, new cd player etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is that these Z4 cables are a cost- effective way to upgrade your systems sound--really! The timing, sound staging, timber of the instruments, amount of space between the instruments has me relistening to my CD's as if they were a new experience. Wow, I don't even have to buy more music because the music I have sounds brand new to me again. I would imagine even the most esoteric of high-end audio snobs would have to respect the performance of the Monster Z4 speaker cables. Now when I upgrade my hardware, I can be sure I'm hearing what my hard earned cash has paid for. Just terrific! I bought these cables used but never opened for just over $306.00.
