Boycott Amazon.com & RitzCamera.......2007-11-19

I never got a product. Instead, I did get the royal idiot treatment from both Amazon.com and their partner for about a month. They wasted days of my time, sending me nonsense emails and yanking money in and out of my credit card account. Who knows what I actually paid or if I'll ever get a refund. I was jerked around by a LOT of emails from both sides that didn't match each other OR the information on multiple websites. I'm no lawyer, but if it's not deception or fraud, it's sure incompetence. I could write a book about this. At one point, Amazon tried to play nice by offering me a small discount, then guided me right back into the same nightmare I'd just spent a week trying to get out of. Long story short, it seems like most people in both organizations don't know what an APO or FPO address is, how to ship to one, or how to communicate what they do or don't (or can't do or WON'T do) to their customers. They also both classify a metal wire compact disc RACK as an "electronics item" (excuse me!?!?!). My advice: get in your car and go shopping at WalMart. You might meet someone who has a life or has the tiniest idea what they're doing on Aisle 12. You'll also save money by only buying things you actually need. Oh, what about my CDs? I just put them on a shelf.

Excellent Medium Capacity CD/SACD Storage.......2007-06-21

This is a superb CD rack for the space conscious music lover who wants to highlight their CD/SACD collection (or a portion thereof, for those with larger libraries) in a clean, aesthetic manner.

The well constructed rack arrives as four pieces (2 base halves plus two rack halves) plus instruction sheet in a 26" x 6 1/2" x 6 1/4" shipping box. Styrofoam and cardboard inserts provide reasonable internal protection during transit, as long as shipping incurs no serious damage to the box sides.

Assembly is simple, requires no tools, and consists of plugging the two rack halves together (the lower half's socket ends accept the upper half's rod ends) and to the optional base. Alternatively, you can omit the base and wall mount the rack using the supplied screws and drywall anchors.

I really like this tower's minimal, modern, matte black look, as it allows you to store your discs in full view while not detracting from the room's other more interesting design attributes.

I used the base and placed the unit directly on a hardwood floor, a configuration that provides reasonable stability as long as neither children nor pets test its limits!

All in all, I highly recommend this product and am similarly pleased with Amazon's pricing and delivery.

compact, useful, unobtrustive.......2007-03-12

I like this CD rack -- I like that it's compact, and I like that it's aethetically neutral: the matte black wire makes the CDs look like they're suspended in air.

The base is a little large, making it a little difficult to place two of them side by side, but that's the only thing that could possibly be considered 'wrong' about the item -- and without the size of the base, the rack wouldn't be stable, so...

I like that it provides different sized shelves, so collections fit as well as normal-sized CDs.

I own two of these. If my CD collection grows beyond them, I'll buy another.

Can't think of a negative thing about this camera. When combined with # Pro Power 2 GB / 2048 MB Secure Digital SD Card this setup just doesn't get any better. The only option I want now is the underwater case for it.

This is my favorite new toy!!!! I got this from a friend for about $80!!!!! Im sure he wish he would of never sold me such a great product for such a cheap price, he was more interested in some Sony camera which claimed to have more pixels or whatever. Either way i am so happy with this product, the pictures come out crystal clear (day or night). and the rotating back screen is amazing, it automatically rotates the way the camera is being held! I mean what can't this camera do???????
