Do not buy this.......2007-09-12
I paid no attention to the other bad reviews here and went ahead and bought this. I also bought the LaCie firewire speakers. I hooked those up first and the sound is WOW! Great little speakers. I then connected the LaCie Speakers to this piece of junk hub and guess what? The speakers made this terrible sound, the hub started smelling like it shorted and now my speakers don't work. Over a $150 fried. Do not buy this hub. The connectors are loose, it will not stand upright. It is a total mess. If I could give this zero stars I would. A complete piece of junk.
A Decent Hub.......2007-08-13
Its a decent hub, its nice to have Firewire and USB in the same hub. My one complaint is that to use it powered as far as I can tell you have to lay it on its side. Its definitely more form than function, but it is beautiful to be certain.

This looks really cool in pictures. Seems like it would be really useful, adding all those plugs and such. In person, it's a horrible mess. It takes up way, way, way too much space. The various USB and Firewire cables are all very stiff, and very short, limiting your placement of the device, and also generally preventing you from standing it up the way it's meant to stand on a desktop. Once you put the cover on, any slight movement is likely to displace the plugs from the inside, disconnecting your device. To add insult to injury, it comes with a USB fan and a USB light. Kind of cool, until you realize that neither has an on/off switch, so if they're plugged in, they're permanently on. If they're not plugged in, you have to disassemble the device, and try desperately to jam the cables through the small opening at the top every time you want to use them.
This product is much more expensive than other hubs, and nearly unusable as designed. Sure, it looks pretty, but don't waste your money.

Good little camera.......2006-03-20
A friend of mine had the A50 and after seeing it in action I decided to buy one myself. It takes great photos, it's light, and it was very easy to install and setup. A smart buy for someone looking to spend under $200 for a digital camera.
LOVE this camera, SO CLEAR!.......2005-12-28
I got this camera for Christmas, I've only had it a few days, and already I'm absolutely loving it! The picture is amazing, the screen is huge and I couldn't believe how clear the picture is. It's so crisp. And I thought that it was going to be a heavy clunky camera, but not at all! It's extremely light and fit's perfect in a pocket or purse. The voice playback on movies is easy to hear and is also very clear. It doesn't come with a memory card, so make sure you buy one when you buy the camera.
The only thing I was concerned about was the battery life. I actually came across this page looking for more information on how to sustain better battery life. Apparently from the user's feedback before mine - I need to invest in the lithium AA batteries to make sure my pictures won't be interrupted by dead batteries. I went through a whole pack of AA's in only two days, and not that many pictures. I guess the regular old batteries just won't do. So I'm going to try that and see how it works. All in all, this is a great camera, and I am very happy with it!

This camera is a steal. The best feature by far is the 640X480, 30fps video mode. Honestly you do not need a video camera if you've got this baby. The video quality is very good and the compression allows for over 1!!! hour of recording with a gig SD card. The picture quality is also superb. There is no conventional viewfinder so the LARGE LCD must be used all the time which cuts battery life - not a problem if you get the super-long lasting energizer lithium batteries. All in all I'm very satisfied!!!
