I have read the other reviews for this xbox cable and most of them act like this is a rip off, and you should just buy a 50foot "cross-over" cable. THIS CABLE IS MADE FOR LINKING TWO XBOX'S TOGETHER! NOT FOR ANY OTHER USES! And using a "50 foot crossed over cable" doesn't work anyways. I bought one myself tried using it and no, it didn't work. That is because it was not specifically designed for the xbox. This cable however is made for xboxes, and will connect 2 xbox systems together so you can play certain games with up to 8 players on two different TV's, but still be fighting each other. But the ultimate recommendation would be to just get x-box live, that way there's no complaining about a system link that will only do what the package says it does(link 2 xbox systems together) and you can play more than 8 people whenever you want.
PS-i'm not a kid, i just didn't want to sign up with amazon.

If you don't like Microsoft or you think you can find a better deal on a different brand, look for "Cross-over" ethernet cables! "Patch" ethernet cables are the more common type, but they do not work for the Xbox.

What is the purpose for a system link cable? Can I use this cable to transfer "saved games" from one XBox to another? What if I purchase a new Xbox. Can I then transfer to the new XBox using this system link cable?

This cable is used ONLY for a hookup between 2 xboxes. This means that if you want to play Halo 4 vs 4 with 2 tvs, a regular ethernet cable will not work. Only the Xbox System Link cable will work between two xboxes directly connected. However, if you hook up four xboxes, you have to use regular RJ-45 ethernet cable with a hub. That is why this cable is necessary.

terrible camera.......2007-12-19

i have owned this camera for over a year, and overall have had a negative experience. daytime photos usually come out ok, but any low light situations are so noisy that they are unusable. even cloudy days make for terrible pictures. they were so bad i thought surely the camera was broken, so i sent it in for repairs. panasonic was good about a timely response, but nothing had changed when it was supposedly "fixed."

the main reason i gave 1 star is because there's no point in having a $250 camera that's only good for some situations. the optical zoom is a nice feature, but no built in lens cap and the hefty weight just for some fuzzy pictures is definitely not worth it.

AVOID - Major Problems with this Camera.......2007-12-15

I have owned this camera for 13 months and recently it began taking terrible photos when using the flash. I did a search online and found out it is a common problem that usually occurs after several months of use. The flash and the shutter get out of sync.

I called Panasonic and they said they knew about the problem, but it was not covered by warranty. They want $180+ for the repair.

DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA! It will work fine at first...and mine still does take awesome day photos....but eventually the flash and shutter will get out of sync and you will be extremely disappointed and unable to use this camera for any indoor photos or other photos that require a flash.

If you don't believe me, Google "Panasonic DMC-TZ1 flash problems" or "Panasonic DMC-TZ1 flash sync problems".

VERY Disappointing!!!! Suffering from SEVERE buyer's remorse!.......2007-12-01

After doing a lot of research on epinions, amazon, and a half dozen digital camera review websites, it sounded like the TZ1 was the perfect camera for my needs. I have been an avid amateur photographer for many years and enjoy using manual as well as automatic point-and-shoot cameras. I was looking for a small camera with a large optical zoom to take with me on hiking and backpacking trips. After purchasing the camera, I noticed right away that the picture was out of focus about 50% of the time in simple mode. I reviewed the manual several times thinking I was doing something incorrectly, however to no avail, as the the focus continued to be unreliable no matter what settings I changed. To me this makes the camera virtually worthless. To add to this however, the camera's white balance sensor is very poor and I found that when taking a picture with anything light in color, the light areas are completely washed out in the picture. I am very disappointed with this camera and regret buying it. It now sits in a drawer in the spare bedroom filing cabinet and I have reverted to using my older Cannon point and shoot because at least I can count on the picture being in focus. Don't waste your money on this product!!!!

Great Optical Zoom.......2007-11-21

10X (or 12.5 cropped) optical zoom in a small package! ISO setting allows me to take great shots at sporting events. Battery life is very good.

I didn't received!.......2007-09-28

After I bought and them charged my card I received an email telling me that the TZ1 was "discontinued" and I could choose another product from ADORAMA (take care with them). After a lot of emails I received my money back.

I really wanted to really review the TZ1 here, but ADORAMA didn't send me camera.
