Terrible!.......2007-03-13
I just got this camera for my seven year old daughter and it was the biggest waste of money I ever spent. According to the box it came in, it holds between 80 (high res.) and 273 (low res.) pictures but the camera absolutely will not take more than 5 pictures. It keeps coming up with error codes that won't even completely show up and takes blurry lowsy pictures. If a negative amount of stars was possible, I would have chosen that for the rating. This is just awful.
Not what I expected.......2006-12-27
I bought this camera for my 7 year old niece. She was disappointed because you couldn't see the pictures after you took them and you couldn't delete pictures as you took them. I think this would be best suited for about a 3 or 4 year old that just wants to take pictures. As high tech as kids are today, they expect alot from a digital camera and this one did not deliver.

I purchased this for my eight year old son. I was very disappointed. The camera is very cheaply made. Although it is digital it does not have a screen on the back of the camera to view the photos you have taken. The only way to see the photos is to download them onto a computer. The camera is supposed to take short videos but I was not able to do so.

The machined aluminum housings of the HighLight Plossls sport a distinctive anodized finish, with grip traction knurled right into the metal. Supple rubber eyeguards shield out extraneous light and fold down for eyeglass wearers. The barrels of HighLight Plossls are precision-machined to a tolerance of +/- 0.05mm from the nominal specification, so you can be sure of a great fit in your diagonal or focuser. And of course they are internally threaded to accept filters.

I have the 6.3 and the 10 Highlight plossls, I was intrigued by their build, looks and fully multi-coated optics. On a really fine night of good seeing, back in April a couple of years ago, I barlowed the 10 then the 6.3 with my Orion 2x Shorty Plus using my Celestron C60 f/15 (made by Vixen) telescope. Incredible view of Saturn, beautiful color on the globe and rings, Cassini jumped out, a nice 3D looking sight.
With Jupiter, the case wasn't so, as it was very bright that night.
For any telescope eyepiece, if the seeing is very good and your ep is of good quality-and this one is very good, your views will be great. This eyepiece will barlow well as long as your telescope can handle the power. If the seeing is not so good, no matter how expensive your ep, the views will not be either.
