Impossible with Vista -- Poor customer support.......2007-11-23
This unit worked flawlessly with Windows XP. With Vista... Nothing. KWorld replaced the dongle and sent some hand-labeled software without any instructions and the result was... Nothiing. Repeated inquiries to KWorld produced... NOTHING! If you are using XP and want to watch NTSC only, you couldn't find a better product. If you have Vista, forget it.
Great Tv Tuner.......2007-03-19
I wanted a way to view TV while playing xbox on the TV. Solution was this USB tuner hooked up to either my desktop or my laptop. It provides great picture quality and is very easy to use and install. Only downside is it cannot use FM like some of the other products offered by Kworld. Overall if you are looking for a nice little setup pick this one.

Driver installation problem. When I run PVR program, there is error that cannot intiate the capture device. Very hard installation. No support from Kworld webstie.

First of all, it does the trick - it works. It's cheap, it doesn't come with a remote. There is almost no application other than the one supplied with the product that will work with the device. The recording/pause features would have been nice had they been in a resolution that you could watch the recorded/paused content - I wouldn't use this device to record your favorite show - unless you're not planning on watching it.
All in all, if you're looking for a cheap way to turn your laptop/old computer into a tv - it will do the job. if you're looking to make a "vcr" out of it - it's not the product for you.

A Better Quality Product than most.......2007-10-26
This is the best quality dual case I have found. Impossible to get locally. Most of my CD Club doubles come broken and their free repacement is an inferior model. Always order extra because one or two may be cracked. In quantity they are heavy, akward, and fragile. Much nicer than anything in the Memorex brand.
Space Saver.......2007-10-04
The 2 disc cases are - 2 disc cases! But are the size of a single CD jewel case. Today many commercial CDs are sold in such cases. But sometimes 2 CD sets come in those thick cases or in two singles. Buying these and replacing the oversized models for these units, saved space on my CD rack. Only one product problem: I purchased 3 sets of 10, and one disc case in each set was broken. They were usuable, but seriously cracked up in places. Each was the first disc under the packaging label, so I guess the shipping handler could not 'see' the damage.

I found these to be of very good quality. They hold the discs securely but are easy to release. And the tray hinges on the same side as the cover, which I much prefer. I just received a new double cd in the slim case. The cd's were very hard to remove. And the tray was difficult to release, and then fell out of the case! I've already switched the contents to the Fellowes case.
I ordered directly from Amazon, and no cases were broken in shipment.

A video camera, or that other kind of camera old people used to use... Pretend you're a big shot and tape stuff - works well hidden in a closet and absorbs lots of vibrations.
Satisfactory for small camcorder.......2007-11-20
I purchased this tripod for a hand-held video camera. The lightweight aluminum structure does not seem sturdy enough for video filming, but the weight anchor makes the tripod stable. The adjustable head has the proper flexibility and control for the camcorder to rotate freely and fluidly in all directions (360 degrees horizontally and 180 degrees vertically). The platform and the quick-release mechanism are rather basic and delicate. The bolt knob underneath the platform is difficult to lift and turn. The bubble leveler on the platform is one-dimensional and hard to read. Nevertheless, the tripod works really well with the small camcorder for occasional video filming.

When I saw this item on Amazon, I was pretty excited. A decent tripod for little money. But don't be fooled. This is a cheap tripod. Granted, it has some decent features and it's functional, but it's fairly flimsy and it the motions are very poor. I've tried using it with my camcorder to get some decent pan shots and it's very difficult -- the tripod has enough flex in it that any pressure I put on it moves the camera, and the motion of the head is very unpredictable. If you're just planning on setting a camera on something and occasionally moving it between scenes, it's probably fine. But if you intend to use it as a platform for basic movie-making, it's a very poor choice.
