Product Description
Intec's Controller Charging Station for PS3 is a docking station that charges two wireless PS3 controllers at once!
Customer Reviews:
Wow, a charger for a peripheral that can be charged by plugging it into the piece of equipment it comes with..........2007-12-26
That pretty much explains the usefulness of this product.
Seriously, your controller can be charged from the PS3 itself when plugged in by the USB cable IT COMES WITH! The separately bought controllers don't come with USB cables, but you can buy any mini USB cable in bulk from Sam's or any electronic store that you can use for anything with a USB port, EVERYWHERE!
Thrilled to get the PS3 Charging Station!.......2007-12-25
My son was so excited when he opened this item this morning! It's been a very exciting morning! Thank you!
GARBAGE!!!.......2007-12-03
This is absolute garbage!!! I just got mine... plugged it in and it didn't work. Then I tried using the USB cable that came with my PS3, and wow... the blue light turned on. Amazing!!! Next I tried connecting my controllers to the thing, and guess what??? It simply doesn't work!!!
At least I have a very nice looking (cheap as hell plastic, but nice looking) blue light thing to decorate my living room with...
DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
It broke after using it once.......2007-11-29
I bought the dual charger and it broke after I used it once. The two charger pieces that go into the controllers retract into their plastic housing and can not be retreived. Perhaps my charger was defective but it looks like a design flaw. The blue light is cool though- just not so cool when the product is broken.
GREAT ACCESSORY, POOR DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS.......2007-09-18
Before purchasing this peice of hardware I left out one factor that eventually I was going to get 4 controllers, this charger only cradle two. Overall usefulness, it's great! the housing holds the controllers in place, and it's really easy to hook it into the firewire port. On the contrary, the bright LED lights make gaming in the dark extremely annoying. Most often I have to put something on top of it or behind something. It's not like it's just on when it's charging a controller, but instead it turns on when the PS3 is switched on. Something to keep in mind.

TDK discs problematic.......2004-08-08
Previously used Memorex, Verbatim discs with few to no problems. Many TDK discs start to skip or cause "unable to read" messages in my PC and my PS2 right toward the ends of movies. Been having to see many movies over to see what happens. Bad. Stay away.
Great Discs. No Problems at all.......2004-06-02
These are great DVD+R discs. I have had trouble with others, such as Memorex in some players. The TDK ones, as well as Sony, work perfectly. I run a very high end PC, so I have no issues with the data speed transfer and write, which is the usual cause of the poor DVD performance post-burn and failed burns. All I buy now is Sony and TDK, and couldn't be happier.
does not play correctly in some players.......2004-01-13
does not play correctly in some players, skips and some were defective before even adding anything on them. as i said before this used to be a really good company at one time.
plus the packaging looks generic.
Zero problems with these disks.......2004-01-03
I purchased a TDK external Indi DVD burner and tried several brands of DVD's. The burner has been flawles with all brands of DVDs that I used (TDK, Memorex, Verbatin). However, I have had problems with Memorex CD-Rs in the past and have noticed that the Memorex DVD's are somewhat transparent (very noticeable when you use a marker on the front) which probably does not bode well for long term life. I have burned over 50 of the TDK DVD's without any problems and have played them in a variety of DVD players without any problems. TDK has very good reputation among DVD enthusiasts and the Indi burner is a CNET editor choice (and the Sony is not). Perhaps the other reviewers here had other problems that were not really the result of bad media or hardware.
Quality control is (apparently) non-existent.......2004-01-03
I agree with the previous review... have had problems with TDK discs, where Memorex and Sony have no problems at all.
Recently bought the TDK burner and had problems. Customer service was no help, so I replaced it with a Sony, and all is fine (using Sony and Memorex discs). Tried to use some TDK discs in the Sony burner, and now have 20 coasters (out of a 25 pack)!
I will not be buying TDK again.

Amazing.......2007-11-21
I got this cover for my trip to AU and was awesome. We used it around the pool and while diving. All the pictures game out good and everyone complements me on the pics.
Under water Fuji camera housing.......2007-10-03
This thing works like a charm and the F40 slotted right in there. As light conditions were not that great when I dived, the pictures could have been better. As I figure out the light setting and have a sunny day I'm sure it will be fine
Don't buy from Builders Depot, they will not honor the $79.99 Price.......2007-09-05
I ordered this through Amazon from Builders Depot, as soon as the order went through to Builders Depot I received and E-Mail cancelling my order due to no stock. The Price aparently had gone up from $79.99 to $159.99, so I sent them an E-Mail about the issue telling them that in their web site it states that they had 9 in stock and they still refused saying that they had checked in the warehouse and they had no stock. I even told them that I was willing to wait for them to come in and they said that they didn't want to hold my money and they had no ETA on the Item. Today I called customer service and spoke to one of the girls there and they confirmed that they had 9 in Stock. I wrote them back and they responded that they had made a mistake with the price but they had no stock anyway. This all sounds like BS to me and they just don't want to honor the price, so don't waste your time and don't buy from these people. Liars !!! How can people do business this way. I also wrote a complain to Amazon.
Well Made.......2007-08-24
This case goes above and beyond the call of duty. I bought this to use at the beach on the gulf coast because the high humidity coupled with the salt and surf can wreak havock on digital cameras. In the past, I have avoided taking my camera near the water and used a throw away instead. I have not taken it under the water yet but I really don't see it to be a problem. This case is very sturdy and well made. The buttons are marked using the same icons as found on the camera itself. The locking mechanism has a safety lock to keep the case from opening accidently, and it comes with a wrist strap that allows you to sinch it up tight against your wrist.
Cave Diving, Snorkeling, Beach, Pool, Freeking Awesome!.......2007-07-30
I took this cave diving in Crystal River Srings, FL, under high pressure, and took it on the beach and in the pool another day in shallow waters. I also took it snorkeling with manatees. No rust, no leaking, no fogging. Got knocked around many times, but stood strong. You can easily access all controls on the camera. The locking mechism is fantastic. The pictures are easy to take, and easy to show somebody how to take. The fujinon lens goes right up to the glass element on the case, and takes clear pictures on dry land just as if you weren't using the case. Unlike some other brand's cases, the flash diffuser stays on solid, and has a backup cord if you want to let it hang off. The adjustable wrist cord with a rubber tube is comfortable and never comes off during swimming. The flash words good through the diffuser, although you'll need use the overexpose dial since the flash is weekened.
My friends love the pictures I've taken of them. The shots while in the ocean while we are playing football are right up in the water action and very unique and clear. The videos and pictures I took in the caves are clear and priceless.
The 1/1.6" sensor on the Fuji F40fd, which is 70% larger than all point and shoots and slightly bigger than even the Canon G7, performs fantastically in the more challenging lighting environments underwater. Also, under extreme bright beach lighting, the camera has incredable dynamic range and doesn't show any hilight clipping. You can actually still hear people pretty well in video mode through the case. The camera focuses really well, even in an extremely dark underwater cave. The little light built into the camera is shot further by the hole in the flash diffuser, allowing it to both focus and give extra light in dark water. The camera performs surprisingly fast.
Very high quality, good instructions. You may want to order some extra silica gel packets. This case is way cheaper than the other brands, and easier to get even cheaper as a gray market even on amazon.
My only complaint is that if the camera could use a fisheye adapter or slightly wider lense, it would be more useful underwater, since pictues underwater for any camera get blurier further away from the subject. Generally, it was wide enough however. Not many cases or point and shoots let you attach these, let alone in an underwater case. I think sony has this option for some of their $400 PS cameras, and the case is 180 buck and 80 for the fisheye. For $80 for a case and a camera with a far better sensor and autofocus, though, I would rather have the Fuji Camera.
By the way, I own about $9,000 worth of Canon gear (5D, L lenses, etc) and have used almost every brand extensively. The Fuji sensors are the best quality for Point Shoot cameras.

Customer Reviews:
Good grab and go scope.......2006-08-10
I just purchased this nifty little scope and after a few nights worth of use I would say that I am more than satisfied. Though aperature is normally king, I purchased this scope specifically for travel, particularly backpacking trips into the Sierra Nevadas. This introduced a new limiting criteria that I've never worried much about before when purchasing a scope - minimizing weight. At under 4lbs this one fit the bill perfectly.
Even with the small aperature and light polluted skies I've been able to pull down some satisfying views of Jupiter, the moon, various clusters and some deep sky objects (the full moon is ruining my true deep sky evaluation). The focuser is smooth and a quick star test indicates a relatively good factory collimation.
My only gripe (-1 star) is the small finder scope. IMHO it is too close to the main tube and the stright through finder is uncomfortable at any severe angle. However, once swapped out for my existing 9x50 right-angle finder everything is fine. The carrying case is good and the scope is indeed happy on a lightweight photo tripod (again, backpacking friendly).
I do suggest you plan on buying a relatively wide angle eyepiece (I went with a 41mm) to get as much of the sky in the eyepiece as possible given the f/13 nature of the scope.
All in all this seems like a solid, highly portable scope. In fact, this sucker is so easy to carry and setup that its already stealing time away from my 8" dob.
Great scope for the money, just hope you get a good one!.......2006-07-02
This is a great little scope to use as a spotting scope and for the occasional astronomical gazing. It works just fine as a nice big telephoto lens for your SLR camera as well with the appropriate T-adapter. Comes with a decent carrying case too, so it really is a perfect grab-and-go scope for terrrestrial viewing and light astronomy.
It does not have the aperture to really pull in any dark-sky objects, but is just wonderful on bright planets, the moon, and easy doubles. Do not expect to really use this scope to see very many Messier objects, unless you have incredibly dark skies and lots of patience.
The build quality is very good for what you pay for. Other scopes in this price range can be really junky, but this one seems decent. I am not an expert but I do know what good optics are and this one gets an all-around very good rating, excellent for the price. No problems with collmination or other abberations. The optics are much better than my last scope of similar size, a Meade ETX-70. I also briefly owned a Meade ETX-125AT UHTC - a $1,200 scope. The little Apex 90 is severely outmatched compared to that, but when you can own 5 Apex 90's for the same price, it really puts things into perspective! Again, great value here.
So why not 5 stars? It took Orion three tries to ship me a scope that worked. On the first two scopes, the focus was broken. Exact same problem with both scopes. Straight out of the box, neither would focus as the focus knob would only make a couple of revolutions before hitting the stops (the focus knobs should turn 25ish times). Both times replacements were shipped via 2-day Fedex at absolutely no charge to me, and the returns were prepaid as well. On this note, their customer service is some of the best I have ever used (period). Real people who actually speak English answer the phone on the first or second ring. Astounding. No automated voice system, no outsourced help. Two thumbs way, way up there. It was still just a bit of hassle to get two defective scopes in a row.
In the end, I'm happy with my purchase and look forward to purchasing other Orion scopes in the future. Their reputation of inexpensive but decent scopes seems true.
