My experience with Cameta Camera was very good from the beginning. They offered packages for the camera/lens/battery/charger/memory card/camera bag/etc. that I was looking for and could not find elsewhere. I found their pricing to be reasonable compared to retail outlets that I researched.
Upon ordering thru Amazon, I rec'd confirmation of the items I had ordered. However, the wording in the confirmation left out items included in the package which prompted me to call them and confirm my order. They were helpful in this effort and assured me that the package indeed included what I had ordered and not what the email stated. This would be my only complaint but again as I mentioned it was taken care of when I called Cameta. I rec'd the order in 2 days and everything was included as ordered.
I am pleased with my purchase and with my experience dealing with Cameta.

I received my camera and lense kit quickly and in excellent condition. The camera looks and feels wonderful. I haven't used it yet but it will get plenty of use over the holidays. A friend has one and just loves it. I am looking forward to the same. Thank you.

This is one fine camera package! I read many reviews of the Canon XT and XTi before making my purchase and fully agree that the XTi is well worth the extra bucks! I highly recommend this package also because of the Speedlight 430EX external flash. It's a dandy! Contrary to other reviews, I don't have a problem with the 18-55 mm lens being flimsy. It IS light but seems to be well built and takes great pictures. The only things I bought in addition to this package were two haze filters to protect the lenses and the Magic Lantern DVD Guide for the Canon EOS Rebel XTi. I highly recommend this DVD. It explains the camera in simple to understand terms so you get a good jump on learning how to use it properly and quickly.
