so overall its the best camera up-to-date
even the new cameras coming out is no beat for this 1,...its simply awesome!
so guys,..if u need a complete pacakage camera,..hand sized,..n cheap too!....this is the 1 for u!!!!!!!

OK camera. 1st camera had stuck pixel, returned to Amazon and the replacement unit works fine. A bit bulkier than I would have preferred. This camera is too big for most pockets. If small size not important, get a larger model that takes better pictures. Otherwise, get a smaller one.

Easy to use, great photo quality.......2007-12-27
My 11-year-old daughter wanted a digital camera that would take "great pictures", was on the small side, had an optical viewfinder and I wanted it to take an SD card, as I already own several for my camera. The optical viewfinder ruled out many point-and-shoot cameras right away.
I did my research using the various digital camera review sites. It didn't take me long to focus in on the Canon A560 and the A570IS, especially since a couple members of my family already own and love their Canon 750s. The fact that they take AA betteries and that they have 4X optical zoom whereas most cameras in this class have 3X made them even more attractive. The A560 and the A570IS are essentially identical, with the exception of the image stabilization on the A570. I decided that the image stabilization was well worth the small difference in price between the A560 and A570IS, so that is the camera that we went with.
My daughter is thrilled with the camera. She has found it very easy to operate and has taken some great pictures with it. I highly recommend this camera for a beginner to intermediate user. It's combination of features, size and price make it virtually unbeatable.

I love the camera. My is my first digital. It is pretty fast, has a lot of functions, like shooting indoors, in a beach, snow, unberwater... Pictures are very clear. I am very satisfied with performance I got for the price I paid.
