Practical, Cheap, and Well Made.......2007-12-01
Made of glossy-both-sides cardboard... thicker than a picture postcard but not as thick as the cardboad that comes with a new man's shirt. No internal padding, so it is not as stiff as heavier and considerably more expensive ones I have been buying from Office Depot. However, I have been using Netflix DVD rental service successfully for years and their disk mailers are just flimsy paper, so I conclude that these mailers are very safe for mailing your disks even without the internal padding. The inside is glossy smooth, so it will not damage the surface of your disk. Overall sealed dimensions of the mailer are 6 inches x 5-15/16 inches. Unsealed dimensions are 6 inches x 7-5/8. These mailers are designed to mail disks either bare or in a paper or vinyl sleeve; there is not room inside for a plastic jewel case. The flap is securely self-sealing; just remove a paper strip to expose the adhesive and press the flap closed. The flap incorporates a perforated zip strip for easy opening of the package by the recipient. The description of "50 pack" is a bit misleading. A full pack of these contains more than 50 mailers so I received the quantity of 50 loose; i.e. not in sealed packaging; however that is not problem for me.

I used these envelopes to send copies of a DVD formatted slideshow that I made for all my friends that went on a cross-country trip with me over the summer. Every one of them, living all over the US, got the envelopes and watched the DVDs without complaining about any scratches or glitches. The disks were in the envelopes without any protection and with no extra adhesives. I'm very happy with their quality and would recommend them to anyone who wishes to send a friend a disk. They're light, strong, and good quality. Your disks won't be damaged at all! Mine weren't! I'm very satisfied with this product.

The Minolta Maxxum QTsi is the easiest-to-use single-lens reflex camera in Minolta's Maxxum product line. There IS no better!!!!.......2007-12-14
I just got finished writing a review on one of my digital cameras.
I have gone thru several digital cameras in the past few years. I had a $400 Nikon camera which decided to break on me 1 month after the 1 yr warranty. I had a Sony Cybershot (forgot which one) which lasted at least 2 yrs. But the new ones are not even close to the quality of the old ones. A Canon Powershot A530 - which got great reviews... but has a CONSTANT battery low blinking.. That only lasted 5 months. Lastly, a DXG (Kyocera) CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP $50 dig camera. STAY AWAY!
Bottom line. After owning those digital cameras while owning this Minolta. I will never go back to a digital camera again. This truly is the best camera I have ever had. You won't find a better camera that takes such great pictures. Especially the up close shots! Hands down, WORTH buying one. Even used. I got my USED one on ebay about 4-5 yrs ago. and it still works great - never a problem!
1999 into 2007..........2007-07-16
I purchased this camera back in 1999, after I gave birth to my son. This camera is AMAZING! In looking at the digital camera I own and this one, I'm going back to 35MM. I don't have the money to afford a digital camera that could take pictures the way this camera will. It's been a perfect camera with no issues since 1999, other than I need to get some batteries and some Kodak film! Over the years, I have upgraded the lens, to have the ability to take closer pictures. I'll come back here and upload some of the pictures I've taken over the years! This is the perfect camera for someone just starting out in the 35MM world, and your looking for EXCELLENT pictures!
Best Camera For Beginners.......2005-02-01
I used this camera for my photography classes in high school and college. I was afraid that this camera wasn't as good as the one priced more. I love this camera. It goes everywhere with me. The pictures are amazing, and you can buy tons of lenses for this camera. I will tell you, out of all the camera's that I own, and have used, this is my favorite.
Wonderful Camera.......2004-07-18
Since I am married to the military, I travel a lot to different countries. This camera is perfect, whether I am taking pictures of Mt. Fuji or my newborn, this camera always delivers great results. The auto focus is slow at times, but you can override that and manually focus on the object.

I started using the QTsi two years ago and I've NEVER used anything else since then (my fully automatic Olympus has been permanently retired from my usage).
This camera is easy to use, and can be switched to manual control for more challenging and more creative photography options.
It's perfect for someone with an interest in photography but not a lot of experience as a photographer. The QTsi is a perfect beginner's camera but can be used even by more advanced photographers as well.
My interest in photography has quadrupled since discovering the ease of use for the QTsi and I thoroughly enjoy working with this camera and trying all sorts of filters and lenses for it.
