As with all things pinhole, you'll get dreamy soft focus images with straight wide-angle lines and endless depth of field. I received the microphone without the carrying case, but I thought I could overlook that.

Less than a week after I received the microphone, it began recording voice and music very poorly. I had to take it back.

I bought this mic for my brother-in-law. He was very pleased with it. I was satisfied also for the money. I am a musicain for the last 40 years and I have had better quality mics and not so good ones. It is not as clear as I would like for a mic, because it seems to be a little muddy. But Randy really liked it and it will work out fine for his karaoke system.

I use this mike for home karaoke practice and it works great. It has good directional properties which greatly minimize feedback. I recommend it highly. It is a dynamic cardiod microphone with an on/off switch. The cord has a 1/8th inch plug on the end which can be plugged into the 1/4 inch adapter (included) if need be.
