I purchased this cable to go from my HDTV cable box component outputs to the VGA input on my ViewSonic projector. It works perfectly and is a definite improvement over the S-Video cable I was using. This cable probably functions properly with certain devices. Between my Mac Mini and my Mitsubishi Projection TV, it did not, best I can see is because there is a sync issue that one or the other do not support. The cable itself lacks shielding on the final component leads.

I bought it to connect a DVD player to a BenQ video projector. Couldn't get it to work at first. After disconnecting and carefully reseating all plugs, it worked great!

The Device to which the "VGA" connector is connected, needs to support Component video(which is actually "sync on Y", Y-Pr-Pb)or "sync-on-green" for this type of cable to work. These cables are not compatible with computer monitor ports or Y/Cr/Cb video. Check your Plasma, Projector or HDTV manual, otherwise your picture won't sync! In this case you need a "transcoder".

Don't waste your money - Corrupt card lost images and video.......2007-12-11
Don't waste your money on this SD card. Bought one for my Canon digital camera. In less than one year it started corrupting images and video clips. I will never buy another Kingston memory card. Check out Amazon's reviews on the Kingston 2GB SD card - more of the same data corruption issues.
Works with Readyboost or file storage........2007-11-07
I bought this SD card not for a camera, but for my laptop. I wanted to see if it would work with Vista Readyboost and to copy files to it for backup. I emailed Kington to ask them if this card would work with Readyboost. They told me that even though it was not made for that use, it should work because of the speed. Well, it did work with Readyboost. The reason I wanted to use an SD card for storage or Readyboost is because it does not stick out like a flash drive so I can just leave it inserted all the time. I still use flash drives though as another backup for files. This is a Class 6 which means fast read and write speed. So, I can transfer about 2gb of data in about 4 minutes.
If your computer takes this type of card then here are the advantages:
Very fast.
No danger of hitting and breaking because if fits nearly flush.
4gb equals plenty of storage.
Can be used with Vista Readyboost.
Just make sure whichever card you buy that it is Class 6. Otherwise it will not be fast enough to work with Readyboost. Also, check that your computer will accept SDHC. This card is not compatible with standard SD card readers.
