When I first bought this, it worked just fine. Then, a month or two (maybe three) I took my Gamecube to my aunts house and it wouldn't start up. I had to mess with it a little (I didn't do that before it started acting weird). When I got home, it was completely shot. I highly recommend NOT buying this! If you don't want to get another dud or a new system (a 360, Wii, or PS3), go straight to Nintendo and buy that.

I got a gamecube a year ago and I bought one of these. About 2 months after I bought it it broke. So I got online and got another one. After a few months this one broke. DO NOT BUY... GET ORIGANAL NINTENDO ADAPTER NOT INTEC!!!!!!

Long story short: DON'T BUY THIS ADAPTER, IT WILL FRUSTRATE YOU.
The Intec brand gamecube power adapter has different specs than the official nintendo one. The official adapter provides 3.25amps of DC output. The Intec one is only rated for 2.75amps. Becuase the Intec ones doesn't provide sufficient power, sometimes the gamecube won't spin up your game disk. Especially after playing for a long time and then changing disks. This is probably due to the power adapter warming up (as all power adapters do). The annoying part is that it seems you can only get the nintendo branded adapter from [...]. Oh well.

the original power cord got wet when my daughter spilled a drink on it. i was hoping it was just the cord that got damaged and not the entire unit. luckily, this power cord worked perfectly. and it got here super fast.

I am pretty happy with this media cabinet. I needed something to hide my CD collection away in and this totally did the trick. The quality is good for the price I paid and unlike most media cabinets, this one is cute and goes well with my existing decor.
Another great thing about this item is that it already comes assembled.

Completely edge-sealed, these Kaeseman encased series filters are designed for maximum durability under extreme climate conditions. Polarizing filters suppress disturbing reflection on mirrored surfaces like windows or water surfaces. As a result image information can be restored much better as the filters are used to select which light rays enter your camera lens, and saturate colors, providing better contrast. Varying the effect is accomplished by rotating the filter, the effect of which can be seen through the viewfinder. The filter factor varies from weaker to stronger according to the filter rotation and its orientation to the sun. The B + W series of slim line filters are intended for wide-angle lenses and are a mere 3mm thick to avoid vignetting. Thus the slim line filters do not have a front thread.
