Specially designed to accommodate Apple iPods, iBooks, and Powerbooks, the durable adapter is gold-plated at both ends for maximal signal conductivity and minimal susceptibility to audio-degrading corrosion. what more can i say other than allows two people to be entertained at once on my ipod touch. whether it's watching movies or tv shows or listening to music, whenever i have someone with me and we're on standby we will always be entertained.

Monster's gold connections don't lose any sound quality, so I use it even with only one set of headphones - The great design makes it easier to plug and unplug into laptops/computers instead of squeezing in those tiny plugs that come with most lightweight headphones. For a few dollars more you can get it in black with separate volume dials and a mute button, but I kind of like less adjustments when it comes to volume levels - set it and forget it. The white color is also easy to see in low light. Very sturdy feel to it, getting more to give as gifts.

Shipping too high, item overall good.......2007-03-15

This item took too long to ship, so I went out to RadioShack and purchased the same thing for $10 dollars. When I got it in the mail, I discovered it was very difficult to return items to this store. I emailed the customer service person, and finally got the code to return it. I had to use my own packagaing, and I had to pay for shipping back! I didn't even get refunded for the shipping from the store to my home. So I ended up getting $4 or so refunded back, but had to pay for packaging and shipping it back. Don't buy it here, go out and buy it elsewhere.

But the item is good. It works well. The only negative comment is the size. Reading the description, I expected it to be smaller. The size doesn't bother me, because if it were any smaller, I would probably lose it.
