Connect your iPod to any compatible Panasonic stereo

eeehhh it's o.k.............2007-09-16
The install went pretty easy. I like that it charges my Ipod. What I don't like (and this really drives me nuts) you can't access playlists or artists or any of the menu options. You have to start playing your ipod, and then use the controls on your head unit to switch songs. The downside is, if you have lets say 800 songs on your ipod and you first felt like shuffling through randomly and then you hear an artist that you want to hear more of, you have to disconnect the Ipod switch to the artist and play the album you want to listen to. It may sound like a small complaint in print, but I gaurantee it will drive you crazy if you have any sizable song list and ADD.
IPOD CONNECTION CABLE.......2007-07-27
This product is exactly what I needed to make my stereo system more accesible. It allows you to control your music from your stereo rather than from the ipod which i prefer a lot better. Great product!
Made me an iPod believer.......2007-07-14
After having many difficulties getting the MP3 player built into my Lowrance iWay 500C to deliver decent sound (which is a GPS unit I do NOT recommend for its MP3 capability or its navigation software if you're a commercial driver)I bought an iPod photo (4G) w/ 60GB hard drive and this cable. WOW!! My Panasonic head unit (7103) controls the iPod - no messing with the player while driving. The sound reproduction is tremendous. Advice: This cable and the head units its compatible with only work with pre-5G iPods. I achieved the best sound from my collection of MP3s by first making sure to "record" them at 320kbps (which results in a much larger file size but with 60GB to play with I can afford hi-fidelity)and at top volume level with NO Equalization, then adding those MP3 files to iTunes and making sure the volume is set all the way up, the EQ off in iTunes (in the View Menu) before synching. Then making sure when I connect the iPod to my head unit that the EQ setting is off and the volume set all the way up on the iPod. Now, I've got my own favorite radio station with no talk, static, commercials or changing stations. I just set the controls for random playback and if I ever DON'T want to hear whats playing, I just hit the skip button. Wonderful, hassle-free, set it and forget it hi-fi sound. Also has me thinking about ditching my Sirius receiver. Highly recommended.
Did not work with 5G Video iPod.......2007-07-12
I wasted a lot of time and effort trying to get this thing to work with my 5G Video iPod. I returned it and got the new Panasonic cable designed for the the 5G Video iPod, which, lo and behold, works great. Don't bother if you have a 5G iPod.
Awesome accessory but too overpriced!.......2007-06-09
Having the iPod connected to my stereo is very handy. I just leave it in the glove box, the iPod turns off after the stereo turns off and turns on when the stereo turns on. It even remembers where it was in the last song! It keeps my iPod fully charged. On the stereo, you can scroll through all of the iPod menus. A very handy accessory. Its expensive, but totally worth it!!!

Another great invention from SanDisk, the microSD is about a quarter of the size of an SD card and is the newest standard of SD flash memory specifically designed for use with ultra-small mobile phones and other devices. Like the miniSD, the microSD/TransFlash is ideal for use in storing media-rich files such as music, videos, and photographs in compatible mobile phones.

A Rip Off.......2007-06-27
The SanDisk II MiniSD shows no difference between the regular or any other type of Mini SD's. SanDisk claims that thier new Version II model media is supposed to give you faster read times. "NOT" After spending a day of experimentations with transfer and video speeds, My 3gp videos still skip and freeze from time to time. Don't waste your money on this product.
Love It.......2007-01-23
You may think you don't need the Ultra II's speed, but do you? Do you know what device you will be using this card in next? I always try to purchase faster memory cards and I'm only sorry that they don't make an Extreme III in the Micro. I'm using a 512 MB, 1 GB, and 2 GB Ultra II for my Garmin 60CSx GPS and they work flawlessly. But then, why wouldn't they, they are SanDisk!
