Quick but know your cables.......2007-12-27
I bought these to attach my Audioquest type 8 cables to my Pass Labs amp. If you have very stiff or thick cables I would not try to use these, too difficult to bend the strands down for the crimp lock. These are designed for multi-strand with many thin strands.
Second, do not try to bend the spades to get a different angle. I tried cause they were sticking up too far to clear my amp's cable connection wingnuts. They snap off.
Know your equipment and cables before you buy these, would be great for typical Monster cable.
Dissapointed with spade style, returned for banana.......2007-07-05
Audiophiles seem to prefer the spade style, but I found that the slightest movement of the speaker cable will loosen the nut on the speaker binding post. I returned these connctors for the banana style of the same monster model, and am very happy with these.
High-End Speaker Connectors.......2006-08-18
I own a set of older Martin Logan speakers. Their quality is legendary with a price to match. So I was interested in maximizing performance. When I called their office for advice, one of the tech guys (excellent service, by the way) told me the Monster banana plugs were great, not the best or most expensive available, but a good value. That was enough for me. My speakers are bi-wired so I purchased two sets of four plugs. Installation was a snap and the sound is wonderful. Add to that the free shipping, no tax and a total price saving of $12.00 and you can't do better than Amazon!

How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.
The Verbatim 2GB CompactFlash Memory Card, like most 2000MB cards, will store on average 2275 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 1706 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 1024 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 819 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 640 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.
One last thing to consider when buying a 2000MB card. Do not necessarily choose the least expensive card available. A 2000MB card should be an investment. You need to consider quality, reliability, and speed with a card of this capacity. Worse case scenario would be you taking this card (and only this card) on vacation with you overseas and for some reason it gets corrupted. Then what do you do? Purchasing a high capacity card changes the game a little, just be mindful of that before you hit the buy button.
