Viewsonic Optiquest Q9b 19' LCD monitor.......2007-11-12
I purchased this Q9b to replace a 19" CRT which hogged the desk space. I now have a desk with room to set papers on. The image is brighter with no loss of resolution and marginally larger then the CRT's. The built in speakers are as I expected, not of high fidelity but adequate for speech. I expect quality products at a good price from Viewsonic and I was not disappointed.
Works Great for the price - Even on older computers.......2007-09-10
Instead of upgrading my entire desktop, I decided to just upgrade my monitor for now due to lack of funds. I had worries about how well this will work with my 8-year old PC, but it looks great. The picture is very sharp and the resolution is high, making this feel like a 22 inch (conventional) monitor. For the price that I had paid, this is an exceptional value.
Other reviews indicated that the built-in speakers are not very good. I will confirm this; however, I found them to be good enough for my uses (being able to hear all voices and alerts). These speakers are not very good for playing music, movies, or hi-definition games, but the convenience and space-savings of these built-in speakers outweigh the lack of fidelity for me. Keep in mind that you can use external speakers instead if fidelity is more important to you.

I think this is a great product for the price. It was delivered on time, and in perfect condition. I do not use the speakers, so I can not comment on them.
